  Its alright

  I am not a downtown type guy. My coworker told me to pick this hotel for the convenience of work and its a downtown hotel. Great location, friendly staff, convenient and great rates. Its an older hotel, bathrooms are tiny like all older hotels. I did love the shower, they must have upgraded the shower heads. I never understood why the sink does not drain. Almost every Sheraton I stayed has the same problem. Regardless of the city, their sink never drains. So when you brush your teeth, dont leave the water running, the sink will overflow and make a mess. Tiny problem, I still will recommend this. Everything else was nice.

  Bed Bugs!!!!!

  Bed Bugs!! Do not stay here! I woke up last night to three bed bugs in my bed and I didn't sleep a wink. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice but I called the hotel manager and she was less than accommodating. I called Marriott customer service and they were useless. She stated that she would refund my points and nothing more. I have been a platinum member for years and the treatment from this complaint is as bad as having bed bugs. They were itching me during the night and I woke up and discovered them. Yuck! Do not stay at this hotel.

  Disgusting

  I travel for work quite frequently and usually log 100-140 nights a year in one Bonvoy hotel or another. On a recent visit here I checked out of The Renaissance in Carmel and checked into this Sheraton as I needed to be downtown. I checked in on the Bonvoy app and indicated that I would be arriving at 1:30pm. Upon walking up to the front desk and telling the woman that I was checking in, I was greeted by you DO know there is a $50 fee for early check in? I explained that I am an Ambassador Elite level guest and have never had to pay for early check-in. The Sheraton associate said that doesnt matter you will still be assessed a fee for early check in. Upon taking my ID and seeing what level I was at, she quickly upgraded me to a suite (as this courtesy comes upon reaching the Titanium Elite level which is one level below Ambassador Elite). Upon going into my suite and sitting on the couch to watch some tv I noticed multiple stains on the couch. It looks as if this couch has never been steam cleaned... disgusting. I would think that in the midst of a pandemic there would be more attention paid to cleanliness of the rooms. I promptly got off this couch and went into the bedroom to watch tv. As such a loyal Bonvoy member, I would have expected more.

  Bedbugs Ccut Labor Day 2020 Trip Short

  Bedbugs! Our stay over Labor Day Weekend 2020 at Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre was going great...fantastic view of Monument Circle, swimming in the pool. Woke up after the first morning to discover a bedbug crawling near the foot of the bed, on the coverlet! Disgusting and certainly not what you'd expect at a premium hotel like the downtown Sheraton. My son had a bite on his ankle. We packed up and checked out as quickly as we could. The desk concierge was understanding but kind of reacted like a deer in headlights on hearing we found bedbugs in our room. She didn't charge us for the first night's stay or for the daily parking, but wasn't very apologetic or comforting. Not charging us was the least Sheraton could have done, and that's where they stopped...at the least they could do.

  Friendly Staff and Great Location

  The major advantage of this hotel is the location to the city center. It is walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The lobby was clean, although because of COVID we didn't spend any time there besides check-in. Hand sanitizer was everywhere. The staff was friendly and we were upgraded to a suite (due to status). Our room was clean and no major stains noted on the carpet or furniture. Everything worked as expected and shower pressure was adequate. We didn't park at the hotel, as the price to do so is outrageous, so we parked at a much cheaper garage two blocks away and walked. I would stay here again.
