  Very Average, tired looking hotel

  Very UNFRIENDLY staff, especially security, constantly looking at your wrist band. Staff just on the look for whatever tips they can make. Can't meet up in the reception with people outside the hotel. I only went for a weekend (I live in Istanbul), due to my sister staying in Side for 2 weeks in a different resort. Couldn't even walk her through the hotel to get to the car park. All the security had to do was call reception and confirm that my car registration plate was registered as being allowed in the car park but he couldn't be bothered. Hotel is very average, pictures are much better than reality. Facilities a actually very good but hotel in general is very tired looking, rooms basic and a little smelly from the damp bathroom. Reception staff were friendly, especially Engin, but other than that staff were grumpy and generally miserable. Would not recommend and definitely would not go back again. Just happy I had only booked a weekend and not there for a longer period. Hotel staff at my sisters hotel were different again and were much more welcoming and friendlier.

  For us a very good Hotel

  We start again in May 2020 in this Hotel Side Prenses Resort. We have nice holidays. The weather was very good. All sevices in the hotel for us very good. We can`t say it is for us perfectly!! The personal is friendly and quickly. Nothing for us was wrong! We have a nice time, we stay again in may, 2020. We hope, this hotel is then very good for us, too.

  This is not 5* hotel

  Having been in Antalya / Side five times over the past 16 months and staying in various 5 * all inclusive hotels in the area I can definitely say with my full responsibility that the Side Princes Hotel is not a 5* hotel . If you are looking for a 5* star experience this is not the hotel for you. I was very disappointed to find out that all the basics services offered by the 5* hotels like WiFi , safe , drinks after midnight were chargeable. The hotel itself was very tired looking including reception , bars & pool areas. The rooms were very basic but quiet modern , I would compare the standard of the rooms to the 3* accommodation in Europe. The choice of food was very minimal , repetitive and made from cheap ingredients . For me it wasnt a big issue as Im vegetarian however there was no comparison to other 5* hotels I stayed in Side area. The bars close at midnight , and everything shuts down at 2am - if you want a drink after 12am you have to pay extra - this is new and not standard particularly in Turkey. The animation was very limited & basic , there was a music only on particular days , I was disappointed to find out that there was nothing on Saturdays / Sundays, very quiet around the pool during the day , not even a music played in the background. The hotel is not connected with the beach , there is c6-7min walking distance through some dark streets. Overall , I had a very poor experience , Im disappointed with the Prices hotel as I had expected a 5 * experience but I received 2*/3* max. Having stayed in 5* hotels in the neighbourhood I believe my feedback is fair and balanced.

  must say this hotel comes highly recommended from me and my friend made us feel very welcome great staff lovely food great location excellent facilities and unbelievable value could not big this hotel up enough

  Second visit

  This is our second visit and we are again disappointed by some of the staff, especially those in the main restaurant. The waiters and the managers are not very polite and don't really know how to communicate with customers. They don't greet, they don't smile and just put the drinks on the table without even looking at us. We wanted to take a small plate with deserts downstairs to the snack bar and they made a big problem because of it. They could have just politely explained to us that these are the rules but instead they made a big fuss. This shouldn't be happening in a five-star hotel. We have stayed in other hotels in Side and they were much much better. Yes, they were also more expensive but Side Prenses is not cheap either. For this price they should be offering much better service. The food also is not very nice. I had a terrible pizza at the snack bar. it actually was no pizza at all, not even close to a real pizza. Like another person before me has said, the hotel is quite dated and in some areas not well maintained. I have to say though that not everything is terrible here. The rooms are good and spacious and clean and the views towards the sea and the old town are beautiful. The reception guy and the bell boy who met us when we arrived were very nice, polite and willing to help. Some of the stuff in other areas of the hotel are also very nice but as a whole the level of the service is much lower than what we have experienced in other Turkish hotels.
