  The staff is great, the hotel is OK

  First the good stuff, we loved the location of this hotel. It is walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go, and the view is amazing. With one full wall of windows, the blackout curtains are of good quality and work well. The breakfast was pretty good, though I cannot speak to variety as we left too early on out second morning to be able to enjoy it. They did pack us a lunch to have on the train though, and it was really nice! The service here is excellent. They even opened the lobby bar at 6:30AM to get us a coffee before our train. (Thank you!) All that said... I'm not sure if they just renovated, or are in process, but things are not quite working together yet. The place smells a bit moldy/musty, which isn't really surprising given the proximity to the water but it is not pleasant. Our room key needed to be replaced every time we left the room. New locks were not working, and we were not the only ones with the issue.

  Very poor hotel

  The hotel looked on photos but when I arrived it was very disappointing especially compared to euphoria hotel big difference the room had many issues and the staff just gives excuses hard to believe this is supposed to a 5 star hotel

  Loud nightclub next door will make u miserable til 4am

  The hotel is nice, with nice views and rooms BUT the VERY loud nightclub next door shakes all the walls to the top floor. Club works till 4am. Not even earplugs will give you rest. So if u are coming for the night life - yeah, good place. But if you want to sleep, its not the place! Dont stay!

  Blue pipe

  The Sky Tower is a very original arcitecturaly hotel. I had an impression that I lived in a "blue pipe ". Inside decor of the hotel is really nice. Rooms tidy , cleaned well and comfortable. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts good,tasty with many choices. The hotel is located very conveniently. Close to the airport, to the shops and seaside. In that hotel we felt very well and welcome. Hotel night finishes at 12p.m, and on the last day cleaning staff were trying to make hotel guests to leave rooms much earlier. They were knocking to the doors and reminding us to leave. Please don't kick out your guests! Maybe we would like to come back?! During our stay in Batumi we have visited realy lovely eatery called SHAURMA. This small place is located in the city centre and they are serving the best roast chickens there! Everything was fresh, tasty and beautifully seasoned. This place provides super friendly atmosphere and professional and very kind customer service. Really,even in the best restaurants we haven't felt that good and welcome like there. I would like to thank all members of staff for providing us with fabulous lunch. Well done SHAURMA. Highly recommended!!!

  Fantastic location, wonderful room

  If you are looking for not very expensive hotel but a good standard hotel then it is the one. Its location is one the first things I liked, we had booked family suite which was on 19th floor (if I am not wrong). Its a round hotel with full length glass wall (75%), so the room was also round with Sea view, so you can very well imagine the view. It is just beside JW Marriott, little away from the congested center area. Breakfast is good, one should not miss their Truffle & Tiramisu cake. Staff is also good.
