  Superb overnight stay

  Only stayed for one night after a day out at Woburn Safari Park but the facilities, food and staff could not have been better. Despite some Covid-19 restrictions we had a dinner, bed and breakfast bundle, which worked well - very good meal in the restaurant, clean and tidy room, varied breakfast delivery to our room in the morning. Couldn't have asked for more

  just 1 night

  plenty of parking, wifi works great, food was delicious, staff were attentive, rooms were clean and warm, breakfast in a bag was better than most normal breakfasts at other hotels, very nice stay overall and would stay again

  A Good place to stay

  My wife and I went to Bedford for my mothers birthday and booked in to The Barnes Hotel.Our welcome was lovely and genuine.Tom the manager was so helpful and made us feel special. Due to Covid obviously things were different but the hotel dealt remarkably well.We will be staying again.

  Good hotel

  Stayed at the Barns Hotel in December as we had a wedding to attend to. The Hotel was very quite and only a few people staying. We had a nice meal in the restaurant and room was nice. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was brought to your room and was really good.

  Afternoon tea to collect

  I booked afternoon tea to collect and eat at home for my mum's 50th birthday before the tier 4 restrictions and third lockdown were introduced. Despite having to close their hotel they still provided a delicious afternoon tea selection for us to pick up and take home, and their service was second to none. The food was delicious and we will definitely go to have afternoon tea there in person when the restrictions are lifted! They really went above and beyond to make my mum's 50th in lockdown special.
