  Great few days. Great menu, great rooms, great staff

  Thank you for a lovely few days. A lovely room, lovely restaurant--dinner and breakfast were both lovely and a good selection. Very accommodating of gluten-free requests. Staff were just right--friendly, knowledgeable and not effusive.

  The Gallivant - an experience like no other

  Its hard to come by the level of service which you all provide. All the little touches from fresh lemonade and cookies to quality dishes throughout the restaurant menu. When our national restrictions provide zero limitations for London/camber sands, Ill be sure to return (hopefully itll be for the summer) The turndown service along with written birthday card was lovely touch Restaurant team were super helpful explaining the dishes

  Lovely 2 night getaway

  The hotel room was beautifully presented with a nice outdoor setting. Food at the restaurant was delicious with such friendly waiters! The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful. Also loved the relaxing massage!

  Fantastic gem by an amazing beach

  This is a lovely hotel, with fantastic staff. We had one night here - to celebrate a big wedding anniversary - which we did put on the booking. Unfortunately, this was not recognised, until after the turndown service, when we were wished a happy anniversary. Also it was a pity that during this, they were so efficient in clearing everything away they also took the 'vintage' champagne cork we were going to keep as a memento of the day! Hey ho. (So if you want something left make it clear upfront!) The room was really lovely: well designed and great decoration. We also loved the bathing suit theme everywhere. Only slight negative is the sound-proofing isn't great - so had to put up with noise from the TV in the next room until they finally went to sleep. That aside, the staff were helpful and friendly and coping extremely well with all the restrictions caused by Covid. The restaurant was also excellent - as was the English wine (especially the 'champagne'). We'd love to go back once all the Covid restrictions are finally over and in warmer weather - but would definitely recommend it at any time as a perfect getaway destination.

  Best UK hotel stay

  We absolutely loved staying here and really would like to visit again. The room was perfect, cosy and really stylish. The lounge area was super cosy, we sat and played board games and relaxed for hours. Really relaxing stay. We took our dog whos quite large and all the staff were so kind and patient with him. The best bit was the food- home made, proper food. All locally sourced, rustic and carefully thought out. Absolutely delicious. The breakfast was equally as good, my husband asked for seconds which although was embarrassing, just showed how much we enjoyed the food! The hotel is a stones throw away from an incredible beach, we walked for hours and really enjoyed ourselves. The beach was quiet as it was winter, we wrapped up warm and had the best time. Thank you so much to The Gallivant for our wonderful stay. We were ever so thankful.
