  Good & Bad

  Location to the conference centre excellent, good large car park shared with the Holiday Inn, Pleasant staff and efficient at check in and check out. Rooms compact but well cleaned although a little tired, Small length of beds, limited hospitality tray in room, Plenty of hot water even at busy times. I should explain we were attending at 2 day conference with Shell, our colleagues were all staying in different hotels, For £115 per night, as this is the rate at busy times I feel really hard done by. If I had paid £65.00 per room I would have said it was good value. The Hotel in short lacks facilities, I have never stayed in such a hotel in a location, and not been able to get something to eat. No room service, all the facilities are next door at the Holiday Inn, The bar area was very limited and not particular welcoming everybody choose to meet in the Hotel next door, Breakfast WOW in the opposite sense, cheap ingredients and offering bacon and beans, and a stale croissant, TOTAL JOKE AND I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF, my expectations of paying this amount of money is a lot higher, I was told this is not a full service hotel. Well from the outside it looks like it, and from your advertising it looks like it. To the management you could so easily improve this Hotel by starting to offer a decent breakfast, or at least if you keep it continental get a local baker in and have something more appealing. I really was shocked at your offering, Increase the offering of the hospitality tray a few hot chocolates etc, Come On don't paly at being a hotel ! if not get Alex Polizi in, she will tell you the same. I will say all staff were pleasant, and once again the rooms clean, bit your facilities are very lacking,

  Good hotel for the price

  This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and to be honest as I always am, and this is only my opinion this hotel is very good for the money, each time I have stayed I was charged £55 including breakfast per night, very reasonable, now I may have got a good rate for booking in advance but I cannot fault it as a place to stay. In saying that its not perfect although the rooms are light and airy, comfortable and clean with all the usual facilities the breakfast is a mystery !!, the first time I visited, it was plentiful and included the full english plus a lighter option of fruit and yogurt etc, however the last time I stayed I only got Bacon... very fatty, and baked beans as the mains, the lighter option was still available and toast but I was a little surprised at this type of penny pinching to the detriment of customer satisfaction, although I do believe there was an option to pay for a full english if you so wanted if you went to the hotel next door. The proximity of this hotel for the conference centre is ideal as well as its position towards Telford centre, across the back car park are bars, restaurants, bowling ally, bingo, and a huge shopping centre if fact generally access to most of the what the area has to offer is within easy reach. As usual would I stay here again - Yes.

  Staff very friendly and helpful. Room comfortable but basic and dated,hence the reasonable price. Good choice of continental breakfast.It clearly stated on line if customers wished to have a cooked breakfast this was available next door at The Holiday Inn

  Good Value

  Stayed over at the International whilst attending a conference at the nearby International Centre in Telford. Nice rooms, very clean and all the facilities you would expect. Car parking very close by. Friendly staff.

  Not open but taking bookings

  We booked for a Friday night and arrived and parked up, but when we got to the hotel entrance with our bags there was a sign on the door saying the hotel was closed and directing us to the holiday inn across the car park. It wasn't far to go but would have been nice to be made aware we were staying elsewhere
