  MUY AGRADABLE ESTANCIA

  En un viaje muy agradable en donde recorrí todos los cotswolds, el descanso en The Lygon Arms, fue muy reparador. Con una atención muy esmerada y una ubicación espectacular este hotel colmó ampliamente las expectativas puestas en él. Lamentablemente no pudimos disfrutar de todas sus instalaciones por estar en refacción algunos sectores. De cualquier manera, la experiencia fue muy linda y es un lugar para recomendar.

  Viaje por los Cotswolds

  Lugar perfecto para hacer una parada y quedarte a dormir. Pueblo con muchos servicios y muchas cosas que ver en el Mismo pueblo y pueblos cercanos Cerca tenemos Snowhill, Stanton, chipping Camden, .... Cenamos en el italiano del hotel y muy rico todo aunque algo lentos

  Very Good Stay

  Visited for a little romantic getaway and we had a really lovely time in a beautifully historic building. Obviously Covid restrictions do taint the experience slightly but this can't be helped and I think overall the hotel have adapted well and tried their best to ensure the visitor experience is still enjoyable. Food both at dinner and breakfast was absolutely fantastic, every course was delicious as were the cocktails. There are quite a few mentions of too many dogs in the restaurant but we didn't encounter any, just a couple in the lounge areas so not an issue for us at all. The only area I felt needed improvement would be the room, we had a courtyard room which was large but in desperate need of a renovation. It was quite dated and smelt a little musty and damp. For the price paid you would expect better so perhaps a little bit of investment in this area would be beneficial. Overall a fabulous stay in a fabulous hotel, Broadway is also a stunning village.

  Could have a better system

  We stayed in this hotel in August. Although the weekend price was more expensive, we were so looking forward to a nice weekend break locally after the first lockdown. The hotel was nice and clean. But the waiting time for check-in was too long, around 50mins. So did the breakfast, it took us an hour to get our food and then one of them was a wrong order. Too many staff were walking and moving around the restaurant but really not attentive at that time. We understand with the shortage of certain staff or because they were on furlough, we expected slow service, but there could be a better check-in system in place or to introduce a breakfast booking like other hotels we stayed around that time. Having said that, the situation could have changed since our last visit.

  Wonderful place - so attentive.

  Ive stayed here a few times but this was the first visit with a child. I must admit that I was a little bit worried as to whether the Lygon would be child friendly. As always, from the moment we arrived we could not have wished for anything better. The staff welcomed us and took our luggage to the room and at reception they made an extra effort to welcome my 7 year old son. The room that gave us was just beautiful over looking the high street of Broadway. We are out at a local pub and returned to the Lygon for a drink or two before bed. The bar staff were attentive and even though we hadnt been there for a few years it was like they remembered us and knew exactly what we wanted. Our son was so happy with the welcome hed received he decided he wanted to draw the staff a picture and put it outside our room. By the morning the picture had gone and been replaced by a letter from the reception staff to my son thanking him for the picture and also giving him a small box of chocolates. What a lovely gesture. Breakfast was amazing as always and we were sad to be leaving, but we have already booked a return visit to the Charles I Suite in April 2021. Of all the hotels Ive stayed in all over the world, The Lygon is the one Id want to return to over and over again.
