  Lovely

  What a lovely little find this was! Only went for a nights break, but had a lovely time here. Our room was clean and had everything we needed ( coffee machine great bonus). We ate in the restaurant that evening , staff were very friendly and welcoming, food was very tasty and well presented, good portion size and good value for money. Breakfast was good too. Would highly recommend this little gem of a place!

  Disappointed

  Apart from some sanitizer as you enter The Ram there were no other signs that they were taking extra precautions re Covid. We arrived for an evening meal. Shown to our table no staff wearing masks. Within 10 minutes 3 different members of staff had spoken to us. Plastic menu offered to us. I am glad I took my own sanitizer to clean my hands after handling it. Partner had a burger, which was alright although the chips were white and tasteless. I had prawn linguine. Tasteless and swimming in a tomato sauce. As it is local to us we were disappointed that we wouldn't recommend to our friends.

  Worth the money

  We stopped here for a night on our way to Norfolk and it was clean and comfortable. The rooms are a little faded and bed was a bit bouncy but it was perfectly fine for a night. The food was all homemade and good quality. The breakfasts were huge and cooked fresh to order using local ingredients. Staff were friendly but we did have a few long waits

  Very good value

  Good value two day stay & very good breakfast Nice room - coffee mchine as well as kettle Very pet friendly - dog bed/bowls/chews/poo bags in room Good food and choice of drinks Very friendly staff (thank you Giuseppe for arranging table for evening meal at short notice after I had cancelled earlier in the day) I liked the Old Ram because it does not pretend to be anything other than what it is - an old coaching inn

  Perfect!

  We had the best time here. Our honeymoon was cancelled 5 times abroad so we chose to stay closer to home. We were not disappointed. I hope we can come again and have the same room with another great meal.
