  Great Location

  We stayed here for one night on the way back from the Sunshine Coast. An excellent location right in the heart of Brisbane. Only let down by a truly bizarre parking system - I do understand that this is out of the hands of the hotel itself. Our room was a little dated, but had everything we needed. No free wifi in the rooms is disappointing and should be rectified...its 2018!! We would probably stay again for the location, but not if we had a car - too much hassle.

  Great location, view over the park/river, great food

  Well this is a top location. Views over the river and park are the best self contained rooms. Close to Egal Street food places and close to the shopping mall. Close to the ferries to get a different view hop on one, you will love it. See pics of our view over the park.

  Classy and well located

  Excellent location in front of the Botanical gardens, away from the hustle and bustle. Rooms are large, styled simply and quiet. The views into the Botanical gardens in the morning is a sight for morning sleepy eyes. My check in was less than ideal with the staff asking if I was at the right Sebel before finding my reservation. My check out was much better, with excellent customer relations.

  Ok but....

  This hotel was our first two night stay on our 3 week leg of Australia. We picked this as we knew we were going to be recovering from jet leg. It turned out to be a nice apartment room - washing machine, dryer, iron, lovely terrace looking over the botanical gardens, I would say the bathrooms are extremely dated and it is what lets the hotel down. Otherwise it was a good place for us to recover, see beautiful sites, just a bit dated.

  My New Go-To Hotel in Brisbane

  On the day of our flight, the airline re-scheduled it to a much later time, which didn't suit us. I rang up the hotel if it's possible to move our booking two weeks later. They did... without charging us for late cancellation. Being a long-time Accor member probably helped. Our Botanic Garden View apartment with separate bedroom and ensuite was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel's location across the Gardens (and also walking distance to restaurants, shopping, etc) was perfect. Check-in/out was very friendly but professional. Definitely enjoyed my stay.
