  Very comfortable stay

  We together with a few friends stayed in this hotel last week because it is close to Jirisan where we went hiking. It's about 40 minutes away by car. We booked 4 rooms. My garden view room on the 4th floor has raised heated floor, two queen size beds, closet, writing desk and a small pantry with a kettle. Teabags and coffee were provided. The bathroom is huge, with separate cubicles for the toilet, bathtub and shower with basic toiletries. It's clean, spacious, warm and comfortable. The only problem we had was most of the staff did not speak English although they were all very courteous and polite. Maybe its guests are mostly locals. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. There we were surprised to find a very pleasant helpful English speaking waitress, Chloe Seo. Nothing was too much trouble. Her assistance in helping us with what to order changed our impression of the hotel immensely as there were not many choices on the menu. In the end we enjoyed our meal of Korean vegetable rice and beef barbecue at a reasonable price. She also told us about the buffet breakfast. Lots of fruits, salads, pastries, hot and cold dishes. We spent about 20 US dollars each (not included in the room price) to fill up our stomach before we headed out for the day. Overall, we were very happy with our choice.

  Excellent stay near Jirisan mountain

  It is situated quite town away from Namwon. Room is very spacious with balcony. Better to choose back garden view since with night lighting it is nice with waterfalls. Two queen size bed is so nice to fit family of 3 or 4. It is best hotel when I visit to Jirisan mountain by car. Limited restaurants.

  Clean hotel. Service needs improvement.

  Nicest hotel in the area. Service needs improvement. The front desk men were efficient but I would not call them friendly. They need better training so that it does not seem as if they are thinking bad thoughts about you when you ask for something or need something. If they can fine-tune their training of the staff then this hotel could compete at the same level as Lotte or Ritz-Carlton.

  Huge rooms

  Nice hotel with a beautiful view and a nice garden. If your room is at the back you'll see the garden but is also the dark side of the building since the sun is on the front side. Watch carefully with booking: a western room with beds or the deluxe family room which is Korean style with mats to sleep on. Rooms are very big though! The breakfast buffet which is mentioned in an earlier review is only held on Sundays! All the other days it's Korean breakfast a la carte. You can then choose between 4 different hangover soups. To eat or drink in the hotel is expensive. Prices go up to 3 times as much as in town. Namwon itself is not much fun or exciting. Good place to stay a night or two, with very friendly staff and nice rooms. But to be honest I expected more of it after reading the previous reviews.

  Great and clean hotel

  Great hotel in an area with few variety of hotels. It is big with a lot of green areas, water sources and lots of plants. The staff was very nice and helped me with my luggage when I arrived and left. The hotel has a restaurant and a coffee bar (pretty expensive), a spa room with sauna and jacuzzi and even some karaoke rooms. I got a 3 person room all for myself so I had plenty of space for my staying and the room was very clean. If youre travelling to Jirisan national park and other parks at this part of Korea I would highly recommend you to stay at this hotel.
