  Average hotel

  We went there for 2 days, the hotel was nice & quiet but too far from everything, it's like 30/45 mins away by the bus if you want to go to the center of Ancona. You cannot do a lot of stuffs around this hotel but if you want to just chill & relax maybe this hotel fits for you. All in all, the breakfast was good & the stuffs are helpful

  Misrepresentation

  Looking at the description this hotel seemed perfect for either us as a couple or even for a family holiday. With its quiet location, large family rooms, and swimming pools but that is not the whole truth. This looks like a 1970s office block. Its many years since Ive been handed a hotel KEY with a large and heavy fob to stop it getting lost or stollen. The lifts were rickety and the suite, while it was large with twin beds a pull out sofa bed and strange desk, was very basic - complete with faded water colours on the wall The bathroom was very big but from another era. The hand towels were paper and the shower cubicle very unappealing. All together no more than 2 star. The sheets on the beds were clean but again the fact they had brown wooden blankets rather than duvets makes me wonder if they can actually be laundered after every visit or do they just leave them on the beds. However the worst part of this hotel is its location. Yes it might be only a short distance from the beach geographically but there is a railway line in the way so you cant get to the beach anyway. Its up a very steep hill which would make walking difficult. To say nothing of the fact that this is a very industrial area so this end of the bay is not really a beach in the holiday sense. The biggest problem however was the stench from the nearby petrochemical plant. It burns your eyes and clings to your cloths. It makes opening windows impossible. So all in all I imagine this hotel is perfect for workers who want to be close to the airport and only stay for 1 night but it is definitely NOT a holiday destination.

  Fantastic Service so helpful and accommodating

  After our recent stay at Hotel Touring I have nothing but praise for the hotel staff. They were so obliging and accommodating, organizing an event for my daughters 18th birthday, taking us to pharmacist when my other daughter took ill. Meeting our every needs with anything we wanted. There was a large group of us in Ancona for a dance festival and this is the 3rd year we have stayed at the hotel and they never fail to look after us. The rooms are currently being upgraded which is nice, and again a huge thank you to you all for looking after us so wellxxx

  Simple, clean and affordable

  This is not a 5star hotel but... the rooms are spacious, AC is working properly and especially with the unusual heat, the room was nice and cool. Bathroom is a bit outdated but again, clean and spacious with clean towels. There is a lovely swimming pool with plenty deckchairs available and umbrellas. Staff at pool area could do more to promote drinks and food as they were not really visible during the peak hours. Staff at Breakfast was very friendly! Food was good, not a huge variety but good quality and if you ask, the best cappuccino! Plenty of free and safe parking on hotel premises. Hotel Touring is located on a small hill close to the beach, its about 15-20 minutes walk but doable even if youre not into active life! Theres a small pedestrian tunnel to enter in order for you to reach the beach. A certain area at one of the beach restaurants/ bars has been allocated for hotel guests for free.

  A great hotel location for late-night arrivals in Ancona airport and for visiting Falconara Marittima

  I stayed at Hotel Touring twice while traveling in and out of the Marche region. Overall, my stays were very pleasant. Lufthansa services Ancona airport from Munich, but the last flight into the airport arrives pretty close to midnight. I took a taxi from the airport to Hotel Touring (20 euro). There is a shuttle service as well, but I only booked that for the short trip down to the Falconara Marittima rail station (5 euro and a very convenient way to get to the train). Breakfast was good and the staff is very helpful. Overall, the only thing I can really say that's negative about the hotel is that the beds aren't very nice and the rooms are pretty dated.
