  Fantastic staff

  I selected this propery due to it's location as I traveled from Indiana to Florida. Like other have noted the hotel is in amazing phyical shape. so much that i mistook it for newly opened. The highlight was the Front Desk Agent, actually a Manager working 12 hour shifts. She was so kid and helpful especially with a restaurant suggestion. Our plan as to eat at a well known seafood restaurant. As we exchanged information and directions she offered an alternative just in case. Thank goodnessshe did. The seafood restaurant was packed, people outside waining to get in and no parking. Everyone seemingly oblivious to Covid 19 safety protocols. We drove a short distance to historic downtown and to the recommended restaurant. Our dinner and experience saved the day. Thank you TownePlace and your friendly informed staff.

  Dont let the new exterior fool you

  Checked in, young lady was very nice. Tried to grill store purchased steaks, no one knew how to turn them on nor seem to care. My door would constantly lock with the lock out so you had to go back to the inside of room to release it. Nice property, they have a long way to go regarding service.

  Excellent in Every Way

  The room was very clean and large, modern decor in lobby and room. Didnt need the kitchen set up but it was handy to have the fridge. Fast and reliable wifi. Seemed like a very safe location. The Tesla charger was right by the front door, worked great. Excellent value, helpful staff. Great stay.

  Great Service, Centrally Located to Everything!, *Avoid Room 125*

  Betsey (sales), Michelle, Harrison, and Nakema were stupendous! They were top notch with superb customer service. I had no problems during my 2nd stay! Location is perfect and is right down from the mall, Publix across the main road, Buffalo Wild Wings. Target/Best Buy/Walmart/Home Improvement stores and so much more is within 5 min drive time. Dothan Regional Airport is only 15 min away (served by Delta). If youre a light sleeper or night owl, odd rooms face west and have less light coming through in the morning. Tuck towels at the bottom curtain to block more light. *On a previous stay in room 125, there is only a wall between the headboard and guest laundry door slamming. Until something is done for it to close more quietly, Id refuse to stay in room 125 or the room across.

  An OK stay for a night while traveling

  The room was fine but the breakfast options were very poor, and probably should be updated on your website to say something like, "... due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will not have a full breakfast available but instead customers will be served by our staff from a very limited menu."
