  Not a good value for money

  Quite a good location near the Hromovka slope, but the hotel itself is not a good value for money. Part of the rooms are renovated, some not. Those are offered for nearly the same price but are of a very poor standard, definitelly not a 3 star category, but rather a poor hostel. So make sure you get the renovated one. The service is ok. Do not expect anything extra, even if you ask. Food is ok as far as I can say. In overall I would recommend to stay in this hotel only if you die for staying in Spindleruv mlyn and can't find anything else.

  Nice rustic exterior, OK restaurant, some of the worst rooms

  I feel divided, giving a poor rating to this hotel. The exterior is cute (a traditional Czech log cabin look). Te restaurant and bar are rustic, but cozy and not ugly. The service in the bar is friendly. But when you walk up the stairs to the rooms, you are transported instantly into a communist era 1970s ugliness. Ugly worn carpet, dim lights, cheap room decor. Flat cheap pillows, cheap blankets, missing light bulbs. No safe, no wifi service in the room, things that are common in this day and age in similar price range mountain hotels in Italy, Austria, Switzerland or Germany. I cannot help it but give it two stars. This hotel is extremely badly in the need of a renovation. At least if they got rid of this 1970s crappy hallways, it could perhaps pass for "1940s chic". This was a last minute outing. I would not have picked this hotel if something better was available. There are some very decent hotels in Spindleruv Mlyn. But even as 3-star hotels go, this is not worth the 50 usd. we have stayed in 3-star hotels in Italy that wee a better value in the same range.

  Una agradable experiencia!!!

  Esta semana disfrutamos mi mujer y yo de dos días y dos noches en Spindleruv Mlyn. En este hotel nos trataron muy muy bien e incluso el camarero , al ver que éramos españoles, intentó aprender algunas palabras para atendernos, cosa que agradecimos mucho. El camarero fue increíblemente amable y atento en todo momento. La chica de la recepción también un 10. Si es cierto que las habitaciones no son nada del otro mundo , a lo que lujo se refiere. Pero también tengo que decir que me sentí muy cómodo en la habitación y si fuese invierno... dudo mucho que saliera de ella jejeje En definitiva, una ciudad muy bonita y agradable y un trato excelente en este hotel. Para el año que viene pensamos volver y si podemos repetiremos de hotel. Un saludo enorme al servicio que nos atendió tan amablemente. Un abrazo muy grande desde España!!!!

  For that price could be nicer place.

  No chance to make a coffe or tea inside the room. Poor rooms with poor furnitures. Staff friendly and helpfull but they can not change how it lookes inside the hotel. Brekfast poor choice. Looks nice outside, poor inside.

  BAD hotel. Do not visit.

  Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights to do some skiing. Looked okay from photos online; however, arrived and the man at reception was blunt and rude. Went to look around for sauna and massage room : THERE ISNt ONE ITS A LIE- no sauna and definitely no chance of a massage. We werent taken to our room just given key and went to find it. Arrived in room: 2 beds stuck together One lamp No kettle NO BIN -accumulated a rubbish pile in the room Only redeeming factor was the bathroom which is okay- just a lack of hot water Furthermore, the breakfast. Cold meats which are not amazing, old battered fruits. Deep fried food and some granola. I opened a boiled egg and inside the YOLK WAS BROWN. (On the last day I had a granola and a long hair was in it). Also when breakfast is over they dont tell you- just turn the light off whilst youre still there ?!?!?!? Wouldnt return and dont recommend it. Skiing is great though ! :)
