  Peaceful Island

  The comfort is 4 star and the staff very friendly and helpful. I passed 3 weeks for business in this relaxed resort. Even for external visits I got extraordinary support. You cant eat all the breakfasst surprises.

  Peaceful Oasis in the city

  Tranquility peace and meditation is the best description of this oasis. Affordable but you feel like 1st class.. Granted the place is old and needs some repair but the ambience is priceless. Two pools and the hotel is built on the side of a hill, so if you have mobility difficulties book the cottages. River running adjacent to the pool was dirty but lots of interesting birdlife. Off a busy street and you are transported miles out of the city.

  Very bad experience

  I booked 2 rooms that day. I arrive at 12.30 pm, and the staff tell me the check in time is at 14.00 pm, so i drive around malang while waiting for them to prepare the room. I arrive at 14.00 pm, the staff said that only 1 room available at the moment and they will make the other room available for 15 minutes. And every 15 minutes i have to called the receptionist asking about the room until 15.30 pm, the answer is always the same,"Could you wait another 15 minutes?" I ran out of patient because i bring a child with me, so i go to the receptionist and found out that the room is ready and i have to take the key and look for my room myself, even though before they promised me to take the key to my 1st room. The room itself is in a very bad condition, at first the door is cannot be close at all unless i locked it with the key, so i have to call the engineer to fix the door. There are mold and mushroom grows inside the bathroom, there are many little bugs inside the room, and the worse part is the air conditioner is always turning itself off after about 50 minutes on, and the engineer can't figure what is wrong with the AC. The room is also very dirty and humid. They asked me to move to another room, but it is already late and i'm to tired to pack my bag so i just stay at that room. The worst part is that this hotel have no lift, so i have to climb 3 level and walk outside about 200 metres from the hotel just for breakfast, because they served the breakfast at another place (the cottage) which is not in the same building.

  Our relaxing visit to Malang in Ubud Hotels & Cottages

  We stayed at Ubud Hotels&Cottages for two weeks in March 2020. The room was spacious and clean. There was a kettle in the room with tea and coffee and bottles of water (refilled every day). The location is perfect, close to restaurants and stores, but it felt like the hotel was in the middle of nature. A beautiful garden and two nice swimming pools. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast wasn't included with our stay (it is optional), but we tried the breakfast a few times. It was delicious... lots of choice in food and drinks. I would definitely recommend Ubud Hotels & Cottages for your stay! Thank you for the excellent service!

  Great outdoor ambience

  I was staying there with my family. Totally got Balinese vibes with a good ambience. Room is just common as usual but the outdoor area is great. Maybe you need to improve your hospitality of staffs. Sorry, as I am a hotelier too, I would say the hospitality should be increased more. I was about to re-schedule my stay but I canceled because it was not FOC. But then when I checked-in the staff was asking me for the charge of re-schedule (in fact I didn't re-schedule). I mean how could you missed it? I also was asking for the hairdryer to be sent to my room but the staff didn't give it directly until I need to call back and remind and no sorry at all on the phone. Oh I can't remember the name but there was a guy that assist me to the room and when I met him in the next day he still remembered me and greeting me in polite way. I didn't get his name but he has clear skin and thin body. Say my thank to him. But overall it was great to have you (Ubud Cottage Malang) for my holiday. Seriously, didn't mean to say anything bad. It was just suggestion to improve. Thanks
