  Teniendo la reserva con más de un mes de antelación, llegamos y nos dicen que el hotel está completo incluso habiendo recibido la confirmación de check-in esa misma mañana. Para quitarse la responsabilidad nos dicen que no nos preocupemos que nos buscan otro alojamiento y nos ofrecen la posibilidad de llevarnos a un hotel de muchísima menos calidad de unos amigos suyos. Vergonzoso. No recomendable para nada.

  Haven of peace with adorable staff

  Peaceful place, great room, comfortable bed, very clean place. Lovely outdoor area with pools and pond. Absolutely kind staff and owners, breakfast is very nice. Very good location. Can't recommend enough this homestay.

  This is totally unacceptable for any serious customer.

  This Vilas reservation have just cancelled our agreement and rented it to another person for a higher price after we have everything discussed with reservation staff and villas owner Ms. Uni. We wanted to stay there for a long 5+ month stay in a multiple villas/apartments. We spent a lot of time for this option and then something stupid happened.

  Paradise offering quiet relaxation outside the buzz of Ubud

  In short: if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing time in a beautiful environment, don't expect extra amenities (e.g. safe, hairdryer) and don't mind a short drive into Ubud this is the perfect place to stay. Longer version: I stayed at Umah de Ubud alone for three nights during my short holiday in Bali. Upon my arrival at around 10 pm I was warmly welcomed by the family running the small hotel. While I didn't get to see much of the property itself because it was already dark I was really impressed by the beautiful and spacious deluxe room which looked even better than I had expected. It included bedroom with a canopy bed, two chairs and small table, a mini-fridge and TV, a dressing room with a wardrobe as well as a big bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub. When I opened the windows in the morning I found a small tropical garden with a hindu shrine, pond and massage table in front of the terrace. Breakfast was served in another part of the hotel - the choice´for breakfast was limited (fresh fruit, fruit smoothie, egg and toast or egg and rice (the second day it was pancakes or eggs and bread), plus coffee or tea) but everything was freshly prepared and filled my stomach. On the first day I spent a few hours alone at the pool in the garden attached to my the building with my room. In the afternoon, the hotel offered a shuttle into Ubud (return by taxi). The hotel itself does not offer food except for breakfast but one can order food and drinks from a restaurant that delivers to the room. On the second evening I found a restaurant nearby (about 10 min walk) and had dinner there.

  Such a fantastic stay

  We travelled as a couple and we stayed 5 Nights at Suite II. It was fantastic and the property is family running business. Ari is the lady who is handling everything and providing everything that what we were asked. The breakfast is amazing and they are providing many more verities. "Fried Banana,Pan cake & Mei gurrang fried noodles" is amazing. They have provided cooking facilities inside the Suite. The bedroom is located at upstair and kitchen, living, dinning, balcony and bathroom was downstair. In kitchen area they provided 4 burners hot plate and 2 saucepans. The villa is very quiet and recommended to couples. Location is bit far away from the Ubud Center, but hotel is providing free drop to Ubud Center. Its managable. There are only few negatives are there at our stay. 1) Air-condition is not enough to cover entire villa (upstair bedroom and downstair) 2) Bathtub is their own prepared one by using tiles. All other facilities are amazing and fantastic. Thanks Ari and the staff who was treated us nicely. Definitely we will stay again at Umah de Ubud
