  Great hotel and nice old town

  We stayed for 5 nights in the hotel. We had V level services which included some special services. The food was very good, stuff friendly. The only problem is that at the front desk the stuff doesn't speak my language and all the menus or all other information's doesn't cover my language "Slovenian". The stuff from Valamar Experience Conciereg was very friendly and all the time available.

  Little gem

  This hotel is amazing, now I need to be brief the only complaint would be they need to deal with the smoking issues around the outside areas for non smokers. The staff are so helpful except you wont get to ever speak with the manager we ask many times during our visit and he was never available. The restaurant staff from head waiters Boris and Miran to the chefs both Toni and waiters Marta and Karlos they did everything to make our visit perfect even cooking us food that wasnt on the menu, we only eat steamed fish, they did this for us and four friends we made while there. The staff at the front desk are very helpful and will try their best to help you with anything they can and Debrah the customer relations manager helped us with a few little issues at the start and put most of this in action in 2 hours.

  Fantastic hotel and customer service

  Currently staying in the hotel, we're only on our 3rd day but I can't wait to put a review for the hotel. The customer service for this hotel is a 5 star. All the team we came across, from restaurant, reception and bar was excellent. They made our stay enjoyable. The room is lovely and very clean. Though the bathroom is quite small, we don't care, we're always up and about anyway. The bed is so comfortable, #goodsleep. As an Operations Manager for a hotel in the Uk where guest expectation is quite high, I can't fault Valamar Imperial hotel, they meet my expectation. I'm already planning our next visit #icantwait.

  Another excellent Valamr hotel in a great location

  We had an excellent holiday in Rab. The Imperial I would suggest is the best hotel in the town. It is well run by polite and efficient staff. Its location is excellent with a couple of minutes walk into Rab town where you will find many excellent bars and restaurants. If you are looking for a holiday in this part of Croatia then the Imperial makes an ideal choice for your stay.

  Great place

  We really enjoyed our stay in October. This is good standard hotel and the staff were great in every department: reception, restaurant, bar through to cleaning. We had a nice room with a balcony overlooking the old town. The room was not massive but more than adequate [ think of the size of a premier inn room] The bathroom had a walk in shower with two shower heads one of which was a rain fall. It was spotlessly clean as was the room. The AC worked well. Flat screen TV had BBC world news and SKY news international. The only niggle we had was the pillows were like marshmallows, but I believe you can ask for firmer. We were on half board and the food was really good. Breakfast was a buffet with a massive selection of fruit, cheese, meats, bread, pancakes, sausage, bacon and there was a chef on hand to cook omelette, fried or scrambled eggs. The service was outstanding. The Evening meal was another buffet for starters with similar range to breakfast but with the addition of some hot starters like risotto or lasagne. You then had a choice of a meat, fish or vegetarian main. The staff really did go the extra mile: a few of us arrived back late from an organised trip but they kept the restaurant open for us. The WIFI was outstanding. The old town is a short walk through the gardens and there is a good promenade in each direction as well as into the town itself. We walked a fair bit and hired bikes from the hotel for a day. There is also Tennis on offer. The weather was pleasant and it wasnt that crowded, but I believe in the height of the summer it wouldnt have been a different story. Fights are mainly in to the Island of Kirk and its around one and a half hours on a ferry to Rab.
