  Beautiful hotel

  Stayed for 2 nights in an apartment for 6.These are in a building next to the hotel.Everything about the apartments and the hotel was lovely .The pool is a really good size for swimming and jumping in! The hotel Is maybe not so suitable for younger kids.Its definitely a grown up place but the gardens and the staff were fantastic

  Beautiful setting, close to Pisa, great staff

  We spent a week at this hotel in August and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The breakfast was an amazing selection of local produce and one of the highlights every day! The pool was quiet and in a lovely location with lunch and drinks available. We ate in the hotel restaurant on 2 nights and again the food was excellent. Other nights we went to the local towns Peccioli and Palaia and also to Volterra. Bedrooms were large with air con and there were lots of public rooms and outdoor spaces for relaxing. Hotel is about a mile off the main road, road to the hotel is narrow but in the week we were there, I think we met one car and we negotiated the pass without incident, just take your time Special mention for the staff who really added to our experience. They were friendly and very helpful with any requests

  Beautiful place. Fantastic staff

  2 nights here with family. The immediate impressions were wonderful - beautiful buildings and gardens and extremely welcoming and friendly staff. The rest of the stay didn't disappoint. Food was lovely, and lounging around the swimming pool within easy reach of the poolside bar was a delight. Would absolutely recommend and definitely plan to come back

  Lovely hotel in a great location

  Stayed here with family for 5 days and this is a great place to stay. The hotel has traditional feel but felt modern at the same time. The main building is in very good shape and you can that money has been spent to keep to date. Pratello is a good location if you are flying into Pisa. Its only 40 mins from the airport but also very close to Palaia and Peccioli where you can get some very good meals for exceptional value. San Gimignano is also only 40 mins away with some stunning scenery along the way. The hotel's capacity is around 40 people so it is very intimate and quiet. It felt at time that we had the place to ourselves especially around the pool. The views from the terrace where breakfast and dinner is served are amazing. Breakfast is ok, not the biggest spread you will have seen but the dinner was fantastic, really tasty food. The pool is a few mins away from the main the main building however the pool bar was only open from 12-3. This was a bit strange as getting any drink or food outside of those times was a bit of a hassle. Overall a lovely place with spacious rooms in a great location. Service from the front desk was good and also very helpful.

  Great resort, a pilot's dream!

  All was great except the lack of wifi... We landed at the beautiful grass airstrip and we were escorted to the hotel about 500m away. The rooms, the breakfast and the dinner were excellent. Wish I had stayed more...
