  So fortunate to have found this place!

  We got held up while traveling through New Brunswick on our way to PEI. I was driving with my older parents and it was getting very late. We needed to stop for the night and were coming up empty with places to stay. I called Carol just as their offices were closing. We were disconnected and she called right back. She waited up for us to get there and then ran around finding us a cot. What a gal! And the studio- which was more of a one bedroom cabin apartment- was super clean, well-appointment and very comfortable. Carol went above and beyond and the next day she came out to wish us well on our travels and make sure we were all set. Nice people, nice place, nice price. Doesnt get any better than that. Thank you Carol!!!!!

  Great Log-cation!

  This is a beautiful resort made of cedar log buildings. The rooms are large, comfortable and spotless, and come well-equipped with stove, fridge, wifi, TV, etc. There's no AC, but there are fans and lots of windows that open to let in the cool evening breezes. It's also very quiet, being off into the woods. There is a spa (which we did not try) and a golf course next door. The resort is a little bit of a drive to the beaches or Shediac, but is close to the highway for access to Moncton and other towns. Nice place.

  Just ok

  Room was clean and spacious. We stayed 2 nights and requested a cot for our 5 year old. Location for our travels to Bouctouche on first day and PEI on the next was ideal. Kitchen was a decent size but not properly equipped. No pans for the oven other than a reused and washed(?) disposable tin pan. No recycling bins. Beds were terrible. The queen bed mattress was old and you could feel the springs. We could not shift in bed without disturbing the person next to us. The cot was even worse. The bed spread on the bed is the same one in the photos from 2012 and was just a bit icky. We quickly pulled that off the bed altogether. The pillows were nice and fluffy. Unfortunately, I did not feel well rested as one would expect from a spa. The bathroom was nice but the flush was loud and the water pressure of the shower low. Also, the walls are thin so you can hear all the goings on in the bathroom. There is no AC which I thought would initially be a problem but the windows opened up nicely and there was a lovely cool breeze all night. Pleasantly surprised. There is also a ceiling fan in the bedroom and a standing fan available. Overall, the room is clean and spacious. Perhaps just time to upgrade the beds and bed spreads.

  Don't stay here!!

  If you're looking for a place that isn't clean, that the landlord is disrespectful and ignorant, that isn't quiet at all, that you have to fix everything by yourself, that smells like sh*** and that isn't relaxing at all, well i got good news for you! this is the perfect place for you! We first moved in, around Christmas time and the landlord was ignorant and disrespectful to my boyfriend just because he didn't speak french and he only spoke french. When we first got in the place, nothing was clean, the floors where so dirty we had to clean it twice and was still really dirty, the bathroom was really gross as well, the shower didn't get washed in forever you couldn't even see threw the glass door of the shower almost, there was wholes in the walls and blood stain everywhere in the bathroom, the window in the bedroom when you opened it, it would fall in your hand and when we advise him about it, he never came and fix it (we stayed there for 3 month). Also, the toilet was leaking for a month and he just never came to fix it, so we had to clean water off the floor everyday. Someone ran over the sewer and the whole property and in the apartment you could smell the sh*** and that went on over a month till we decided to move because we couldn't take it anymore to live in this sh*** hole anymore. The furniture was also really disgusting, it was falling apart and we had to pick up piece of it on the floor all the time and if we had a problem, the landlord would tell us to fix it ourselves. He also gave our information to the other people in the apartment without asking and told them we would fix things wrong in their apartment. On top of that, when we first moved in, he told us pets were welcomed and we could have pets but he didn't mention that there was certain apartment that they could go in, so we had to change place a week after and move all of our stuff again, made me call the people from the other rooms to see if they would like to change apartment and he didn't even want to call himself and just shared the information of others once again. This place is seriously the worst place I have ever stayed and wouldn't recommend it at all to anybody! If i could I wouldn't even put a 1 star, I would put none but i had to put at least 1. You pay a lot for a place that isn't even worth that much for everything you have to do and deal with.

  BEWARE OF ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE

  a booking was made with a 50% reimbursement policy for cancellation. Unfortunately, due to dangerous weather forecast (path of hurricane)- we had to cancel the booking. Village scandinave FLAT OUT REFUSED to reimburse any portion of the moneys paid (pre-paid 100%) or offer any concession (such as re-booking after the storm). This resort DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS.
