  Bravo Amarina and warm greetings from Canada!

  Wed like to sincerely thank Margarita, Elizabeth, Marco and all the wonderful staff at Amarina for helping to make our honeymoon so special! The resort is situated on a private beach that leaves you no choice but to unplug and let all your worries melt away with the incredible sunsets. Plenty of space to find a quiet spot to watch the tide roll in and out. There is an intimacy at Amarina you rarely feel at other resorts. The warmth and attention to detail the team put out during our stay made us feel like a welcome part of their family. As others have mentioned in their reviews, this is an Italian style resort albeit with a Malagasy twist. The primary language spoken is Italian and the food is also Italian themed. Neither of these were issues for us as everyone went out of their way to speak English when possible including the other guests. And the food, we loved it!! Typically after a few days, buffet style food starts to taste the same but the tastemakers at Amarina have created a menu that is varied in its nuance. Each day we were pleasantly surprised by wide range of savoury food options available to choose from. The daily fresh catch was always a highlight, grilled and seasoned to perfection. The excursions team was fantastic and passionate about showing guests a great time. We were very fortunate to swim with giant whale sharks and sea turtles while visiting some of the nearby islands off Nosy Be. Overall, the combination of great accommodation, delicious food and top quality treatment have left a vivid memory for us to cherish for years to come. We cant wait to come back!

  A week in paradise treated like a princess and spoilt like a goddess

  I spent a fantastic week in this amazing place. The resort is not too far from the airport and the way to reach the hotel allows the tourists to have a charming and sometimes tough glimpse of The local peoples life. The resort is not big, it can accomodate around 160 and that makes it unique:you can really take a break from the frantic city life. The rooms are simply perfect:big, cleaned and in tune with the nature around. All the structures (little villas, main body, bar, restaurant...) are surrounded by a charming garden constantly looked after by the staff. If you want to reach the sandy beach you just need to open the door of your room and...there it is: the warm, clean and bright sea. The beach is well looked after and the local staff keep it cleaned and is ready to satisfy all your needs in order to allow you to lie down in your perfect spot! The food at the restaurant is delicious and healthy with lost of fresh and local products. The main bar offers you delicious cocktails and a fantastic tea time. The entertainment staff is great too. The friends team is kind, well organised and discrete. They are ready to suggest you activities but without bothering or disturbing your rest. I had the possibility to swim and do snorkelling with the gigantic turtles, explore the coral reef and meet lemurs and turtles in one of the excursions suggested by the Francorosso and local team. If you go to Seaclub Amarina you can be sure that you dont get bored as there are many excursions that you can book and do. There is so much I could add but I want to end with a wish: I wish to be back and I wish you all (families, couples or singles) to have the chance to spend a week in this amazing corner of paradise

  A magic place

  This place is truly special since it combines a structure that is both well embedded within the surrounding nature (without being excessive) and makes guests comfortable even when the resort is full, and it is well integrated with the always gentle local people that works there with an almost 1:1 ratio with guests (when at full capacity). Only down-point: the almost non-existent Wi-Fi (but I am told the situation should improve in the course of 2019). High praise for the Italian Francorosso staff that we met at the resort (never interfering and always caring). We will (hopefully) go back.

  Fantastic resort by Indian Ocean

  Beautiful and friendly resort on dreamlike beach. All facilities and high level of hygiene and security. Great activities incl snorkling and diving. Nice rooms with wonderful views. The staff were always helpful. Downside is bad road from airport and poor WiFi quality, but the upside is to stay at the place of your dreams :-)

  Africa paradise

  I have been returning to this paradise for a long time and several times every year because the rooms, really large and well furnished, are all with a wonderful sea view and a dedicated beach with wooden deckchairs they are located in small elegant concrete villas and very well inserted in the wonderful context an excellent restaurant with international cuisine that recalls the Italian one the staff is well-trained, polite and efficient the manager is a very kind woman affable active always available and able to solve any problem
