  Designed to forbid fun! Feels like a concentration camp. Location is great.

  Not a 4 star for sure! Table tennis was on the list, but not available. We wanted to play billiard but there was no light where the pool table was set, we asked for light, some guy came and changed a light bulb in another location. We asked again and told the reception lady that we cannot really play without light and she said "... but you are playing...". Restaurant bar staff was very rude, whenever we asked something the answer was "moment" with a rolling eyes face. At the pool you are forbidden everithing: no ball, no jumping, no splashing, no smoking, even outside, We were not alowed to take coffee at breakfast out of the room to the hotel terrace for a smoke. Welness receptionists were nice and always willing to help. We got the first room on the last floor, room was not ready, covers were in a pile not on bed and withour sheets. We asked for another room, we got one but with the default eyes rolling and comments in Czech (my partner understands Czech and the coments were not nice). Overall, a bad experience. Too bad because the location is great.

  If I had an option to write 0, I would select that

  1. Total dirt in the hotel room. Hotel, not apartment. Our room was not cleaned at all until we asked for it. They have only 1 or 2 cleaners who is very arrogant and never have time. They don't change towels and do nothing literally in the room, do not even come. So we had to use wet towels next day as it didn't have time to dry. 2. Receprionist told us that we have a dinner included. After three days it appeared that dinner is not included and we have to pay 100 euro for that. After we tried to explain that she made a mistake, manager came to as and said that this is our fault and that we mislead the receptionist and the restorand employees !!!! In very arrogant and nasty way! !!!!The fish rots from the head!!!! 3.Internet? No wifi in rooms, Even 4G intetrnet hardly catched. 4. Oh yes, during coronavirus they suppose to have desinfection everywhere, and yes, they have. But it is NOT DESINFECTION inside of bottles. Smells like water from swimming pool. 5. Fan was broken in the first day and noone came to fix it after we requested. 6. And the cherry on the cake - there are no mirrors..)) really. You will never know how do you look until return home. Our sincer advice STAY IN DIFFERENT "HOTEL". It is not 4 stars at all, I would say it is not hotel at all. If you really need to have wellness go the once but live in different hotel. This one is disgusting.

  Really 4-stars hotel?

  I think somebody has forgotten that we don't live in 90'! The hotel is absolutely anti-guest focused. I have never seen so many argues between guests and receptionists or other personnel. On paper looks everything great but reality kicks you out of dreaming very quickly. - A 4-star hotel should have better equipped rooms - without broken hairdryer, smelly fridge, water staying in shower tub. - Arrogant personnel. - Cleaning of rooms is performed after complains. - Cold water in aqua center showers. - Quite expensive dinners for the quality of served meals. This is really not a 4-star hotel and absolutely deserves not the money you spent for your vacation if you don't want to be angry and disappointed like us. Please try other hotel this one doesn't deserve you ;).

  Not at all what was advertised, awful service.

  Where to start here. It was terrible from start to finish. This is supposedly a 4 star hotel but Ive stayed in 2 star hotels that far outclassed this one. The shower head in our room was broken, the TV remote and clock were also broken, the wifi was slow and laggy. They advertise a gym and squash courts on their website but when we got to the hotel we made the unpleasant discovery that these were shut for renovations. We booked an apartment suite which had no kitchen or anything that would make it any different to a normal hotel room. Here is the worst thing: the room was not cleaned ONCE in our entire 4 days here even though we put the please clean sign on the door the entire time. Everything extra had to be paid for, even meals. The so called aqua park advertised on their website is completely overpriced: theres one slide and 4 small pools, extreme let down especially considering the 20 cost per person for 90mins. We tried to go to the aqua park at 8pm because it shuts at 9 but when we got there we were told that the latest to buy a ticket was 7:15pm and so we couldnt go in. The service is absolutely terrible, when we complained none of the staff seemed to care, the customer is made to feel completely neglected and their needs are uncared for. I want my money back, this was a complete wasted holiday and not at all what was advertised to me. The reception staff spoke poor English, luckily my boyfriend speaks Czech and so could easily communicate with them but otherwise language would have been an issue. The only positive I can think of was the breakfast which had a lot of options, but it is not at all a restaurant, more like a dining hall. It is ironic that this is sold as a wellness hotel when I spent the entire time frustrated, bored and upset. Luckily the town of Frymburk is beautiful and we enjoyed the food and atmosphere in local restaurants, as well as Lipno lake, but this hotel was a total rip-off and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. I have stayed in Travelodges and Premier Inns that were better than this 4 star hotel. I have never felt so dissatisfied and cheated than after my stay here.

  DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU LIKE TO ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY

  This hotel is terrible. I struggle to find things to compliment. The carpet is installed well...I guess? When arriving, despite booking an apartment suite, having been promised a kitchen and free WiFi, my girlfriend and I were shocked to find that the so-called kitchen was merely an unclean microwave and cutlery that had been left in a drawer under the TV. Further to this, despite the hotels heavy marketing and emphasis on its aquapark and spa, the so-called aquapark not only requires an additional charge of 15 for 90 minutes, but is in fact merely four small swimming pools with one slide. We left after half an hour. Moreover, despite two phone calls and arguments with the reception, our room was not cleaned once for the duration of our stay. We ran out of toilet paper and clean towels. IN A FOUR STAR HOTEL! I could write a 5000 word essay on reasons not to come here, but the overall message is that both myself and my girlfriend (having fallen for the hotels slick advertising, which the hotel seemingly spends its entire budget on) couldnt have been more disappointed. Perhaps the worst place to stay together having been reunited for the first time in five months due to coronavirus. At least the town has nice restaurants, though.
