  Very clean hotel with spacious rooms

  Stayed here one night right after arriving back from Nemrut. Very clean and comfy rooms & friendly staff and service. The breakfast and dinner are also quite various and efficient. Would definitely stay again!!

  Short trip for a wedding

  This hotel is widely reviewed on other sites along with this one so we did look it up. Everything was as we expected, hotel arranged for transfer from and to airport and was cheap. I asked the reception staff if they could iron my clothes for the wedding, no problem collected and returned in under an hour. Swimming pool was welcome and clean as was the rest of the hotel. ideally placed for some peace and quite away from the hustle an bustle of city life. This area isn't really a tourist area so don't really cater for the things you would usually expect i.e. fully stocked bar but when I asked they directed me to the local super market where you can purchase the local beers cheaply to drink in your room, although we did drink them around the pool and this seemed to be ok as we didn't turn it into a full blown party and respected them. Hotel staff were on hand top deal with any problems during our stay from arranging multiple taxis for all of the wedding guests and short notice booking of rooms for the bride. If I ever return to this area this is where I would stay.

  A new blossom within remotes

  On the way to Ataturk Dam Lake region, walking day-long under sunny, snowy and windy conditions can easily make you home-sick. Ok relax, you are in the right place. White Star is a rather new built with sufficient premises and facilities to feel better. It even has an outdoor pool. 4-star is given but dont expect too much as you are used to see in larger cities. There is a gas-station and wedding palace next to the hotel building thus ask before you are arrive if there is a wedding that night or not. Otherwise it is too noisy until 23.00 at night.

  Awful experience!

  Avoid at all costs! Nothing was as described. We booked a double and twin bed room for 3 people. We received a double bed and a couch. The pool is pictured with loungers and chairs. There are none and the pool is smaller than the photoshop image they used. It also promises spa/sauna/hamam... they dont exist. Rooftop bar/restaurant as promised on its website... nope! When we to spoke to the manager, we were verbally assaulted by him! He was rude and didnt care at all. They have tour groups coming everyday so he feels that he doesnt need to provide any sort of service! We booked with Expedia and after explaining to them, they tried to contact the manager to tell him to not charge us for the room, he pretended to not be there and not speak English. Then, when we finally wanted to leave, we told him our card was on file with Expedia and that he can take it up with them. Instead he got more aggressive and finally charged my card with the number on file. Moreover, when we arrived, as the room was not ready we were invited to sit down and the reception asked if we would like a coffee. Upon leaving, they had the audacity to charge us for the coffee that they invited us to! The nerve... Whatever you do, do not stay here! You have been warned!

  Uncomfortable Bed

  The hotel looks fine with good facilities, including a working elevator and hot water. But if you want to sleep comfortably, go elsewhere. Single beds are on the small side, and both mattresses in my room were uneven and inconsistently firm. Good luck trying to find a proper sleeping position.
