Relaxing Hideaway and Premium Comfort at Winford Manila Resort and Casino
As expected, I really had a recharging sleep and restful stay at Winford Manila Resort and Casino giving me a chance to de-stress from a week-long work challenges I encountered days before my booked staycation. Yes, it is very timely as well for a weekend escape making me refreshed and energetic to welcome the brand new week. The 58 sqm Executive Suite we stayed in with a panoramic view overlooking the busy Manila streets offers a separate living room, a bedroom, and an upscale bathroom (and powder room) with a stand-alone bathtub. The room has an Asian-inspired touch equipped with upcycled furniture, king-sized bed, soft-lightning, minimalist yet classy interiors and furnished with topnotch amenities that include 55 Flat Screen TV, Safety Deposit Box, Room Telephone, Bathrobe, and Slippers, Minibar + Fridge, Working Desk, In-room Iron Board, Hair Dryer and complete set of toiletries for 2 persons. Added excitement on the room we stayed in is its features and designs that beg to be Instagrammed surely to my photos collection for social media posting and blog gallery. Winford Manila features the finest facilities that will inevitably add more excitement, recreation, and relaxation not just wholly staying in the room. Spending time in the refreshing swimming pool waters during staycation can greatly impact the guests to take advantage of their time staying in the hotel for a long time (coz some tend to spend their time outside the hotel after checking-in). The hotel offers a magnificent functional layout of their sun-soaked Heated Swimming Pool in the 11th room that represents idyllic escapes among urban dwellers and an indulgent treat for anyone to complete and memorable experiences. It is definitely worthwhile to do your fitness regimen in the hotels in-house Fitness Gym with its modern equipment and excellent facilities to the fitness buff guests on a high note. One of the best spots I like to hang-out or take photos in the hotel is the Reception/Lobby Area and walk around the Hallways fostering classy interiors, chic furnishings, glittering ornaments hanging in the lobby, alluring aesthetics, thoughtful details that tastefully stand out and compelling designs all-over the place are altogether a cut above the rest and precisely an impressive and remarkable destination inside the hotel. The reception area also houses a showroom and a few retail outlets. Also, Winford Manila boasts of a 700-seater Ballroom on the 4th floor perfect for weddings, parties, social gatherings, and big corporate events. Advance booking reservations is highly recommended. On our first night of staycation at Winford Manila Resort and Casino, we had a sumptuous dinner at Choi Garden Manila, an authentic Cantonese-Chinese restaurant located on the 2nd Floor of the hotel. I found out that this branch in Winford Manila is the largest among the Choi Garden chain of restaurants in Manila which can accommodate up to 300 guests at a time. Choi Garden Manila is absolutely the place for value-for-money Chinese Flavors and Staples. The servings are big and the selections are wide that includes Rice Topping, Hotpot Rice, Fried Rice, Congee, Soup, Noodles, Seafood, Pork, Beef, Roasting, Vegetables, Poultry, Dimsum Specials (my favorites!!!), Dessert and Beverage. During our staycation, we were treated with an exceptional buffet dining at Copa De Manila, the all-day dining restaurant cafe of Winford Manila Resort and Casino that pays homage to the countrys heritage through its medley of Filipino-Spanish Cuisine. Copa de Manila is an upscale and evolved dining experience that exudes elegance and fineness. The restaurant s ambiance provides an air of relaxation, in a subtle yet stylish way perfect for lunch-outs and dinners with friends, business partners, and office colleagues and family bonding and get-together over good food and engaging stories. The restaurant is conveniently located on the ground floor lobby of the hotel. Book now at Winford Manila Resort and Casino, your new haven in the metro for your next-go-to idyllic staycation and an ideal place to spend for some pampering luxury and indulging the best hotel services that effortlessly invokes elegance and modern lifestyle with services carried out in a warm and hospitable manner, coupled with modern amenities any guests should feel right at home.

A decent hotel with a good room size and next to a shopping mall
A decent hotel with good room size. The check in lobby is small though. The room is clean and has good tv channel. The only complaint is the toilet. One could smell sewage from the drain at the shower area. The breakfast isnt really very appealing and can be skipped. The sound proofing in the room isnt the best as well. You can hear your neighbour next door. One good thing is there is a sm city mall next to the hotel hence it is convenient to buy food, shopping or watch a movie. A MacDonald is also located next to the hotel as well as a 7-11. There is a mini casino on site. Nothing to shout about though.

Family Lunch at CHOI GARDEN Restaurant
My review is specifically for Choi Garden at Winford Manila, however, I couldn't find said restaurant in TripAdvisor. Our family had a luncheon at Choi Garden as an early family Christmas gathering since we have balikbayan visitors. Frankly, Choi Garden needs a lot of improvement in terms of their menu, food presentation, food taste, serving portions, service and even cleanliness of the toilets. The service is slow, some of the orders were served late when we have already almost finished eating. For example, the fried chicken was served when we have already finished eating. Serving portions of food can also be improved, the rice serving is little compared to other Chinese restaurants. If you're craving for Chinese food, try the mall in-front of Winford Hotel, you may see better options there.

First the restraunt Choi garden we went back twice because we enjoyed the food and the service my only complaint are the seat covers are very stained i didn't want to sit on them the hotel we enjoyed very much the reason for 4 stars is because at the pool when we wanted to charge food and drinks to the room but were told your only aloud 2 thousand Pesos that's only 40 dollars American money we didn't think you had to bring cash or credit cards to the pool in other hotels we were able to charge in the hundreds of dollars of food drinks it's vacation drink and eat so that was a turn off that they don't trust you to charge to your room I will still go back

Overpriced
The overall experience leaves much to be desired. Facilities were average, like what you will see in other hotels. The room was very clean. Of the three requests we made thru the room service phone, only one was delivered, after almost an hour. We experienced better service from other cheaper hotels. Breakfast buffet was nice, we especially loved the soba and tofu dishes and the people at the restaurant were very attentive, although two of the glasses served at the table had lipstick marks. Yikes! (Don't try the waffles.) Don't expect that the price you paid equates the service you'll receive. *Did not visit the casino
