  Amplias habitaciones en un entorno precioso

  Estuvimos una semana a finales de abril en este complejo de tiempo compartido a traves de nuestra afiliación a Interval Internacional. De acuerdo que al haber terminado la época de ski y no haber empezado el verano, la temporada era baja, pero el precio que conseguimos estaba bastante bien (sobre todo pagando en euros, jeje). Nuestra habitación estaba muy bien, amplia y equipada, incluyendo chimenea y barbacoa (de gas) lavadora y lavaplatos etc. El único pero sería la necesidad de renovación de algunos elementos, como las puertas de los armarios, pero nada importante. Las camas eran cómodas y la ropa de cama y toallas estaban en buen estado. En cuanto al complejo resultaba muy agradable, se agradece la piscina climatizada al aire libre, pues gracias a los días de sol, pudimos bañarnos en abril con temperatura ambiente bastante fría. Los jacuzzis solo pudimos probarlos pues estaban demasiado calientes para nuestro gusto. Solo echamos de menos alguna pequeña tienda de conveniencia o cafetería. Necesitas usar el coche para todo. La pequeña ciudad de Big Bear Lake nos pareció una maravilla, aunque quizá ayudó, como decía, la poca gente debido a la época del año. No dejéis de probar la cerveza que fabrican allí mismo. En resumen, tanto el complejo como el entorno, resultan muy recomendables.

  Muy agradable

  Es un hotel muy agradable, limpio y definitivamente regresaria. Lo unico malo q nadie nos dijo q no contaba con servicio de limpieza y si quieres q limpien cuesta apartir de 75 dlls. Tambien, insisten mucho en ir a un desayuno para venderte otras estancias. En general muy agradable.

  Great vacation

  The location is within walking distance of grocery stores and restaurants yet out of the center hubbub of the town. Units are very nice, grounds well kept, and amenities good--rec room, pool, and spas. We went in Feb for skiing but have been there in the fall as a get away.

  Our experience during Covid

  We have stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 times and find the rooms and the overall property to be perfect for our family's needs. This last visit was definitely different due to the restrictions of Covid-19. The hotel is taking longer to service rooms, and has removed some of the kitchenware from the units unless specifically requested. When we checked in at 6pm our room was not yet ready, but they called us within an hour to let us know it was ready. This could be very frustrating so you may want to call on your way to check if your room is ready. There was not a public restroom available and after a long car ride, more than one guest was asking. So again, plan ahead. The pool is open but you must call after 6am on the day of to request a 2 hr time slot. Hot tubs, bball courts, play area, game room, and tennis courts were not available. The Front Desk didn't communicate this very well at check-in, so it's good to know in advance so you can set your expectations accordingly. The staff was all very nice, but you can tell that they are also frustrated by current restrictions and they are doing their best. The hotel was nearly sold out, as Big Bear has been a hot spot during this time of Quarantine. As long as you know what to expect, the hotel itself and the rooms are great. I do recommend bringing your own food and snacks. It was a little difficult finding places to eat. Everything is dine outside right now and it's in the mid 80s, so outside dining can be uncomfortable in the heat of the day. At two different restaurants we waited for 30 - 45 minutes to get food and it was obvious that the staff was stressed and customers were getting upset. There are limited places that deliver, though we did try delivery from Himalayan Restaurant and it was hot and delicious. Starbucks is witihin walking or easy driving distance but the drive-thru line on a Sunday mornign, was at least 20 cars long. We found breakfast at the Barnstorm, out at the airport, to be the best kept secret for Breakfast. The outdoor are was completely shaded and the French Toast was delicious. We stopped at Walgreens and the store felt dirty and many things ( including water and beer) looked picked over. If you're going to spend the day at the lake, get there by 10am. The traffic getting around the lake was ridiculous and the number of tents set up along the shore was more than I had ever seen before.

  Would stay here again

  We (a couple) stayed Friday & Saturday, October 2 & 3, 2020 in a 2nd floor room-254. Very clean, kitchen had enough plates, cutlery and glasses. Coffee, tea, powdered creamer, sugar were included. Bathroom amenities included soap, shampoo, a blow dryer, Kleenex, TP, 3 large bath towels, 3 hand towels and wash cloths. No lotion, no hair conditioner. No daily maid service but I believe you could get additional towels from the front desk. Pools and jacuzzi are closed. Before we left, we were asked to take out our trash and recycleables and load the dirty dishes in the dishwasher but not run the dishwasher. Parking was included for one vehicle. WiFi was $4.95/day (there were other rates for longer stays but cant remember what they were). The facility was within walking distance of Vons, Stater Bros, Jersey Mikes and a number of other stores. There are 2 fans, one in the living area and one in the bedroom. I would have like to be able to open a window, especially at night. 2 TVs with DishTV. DVD players attached to both. We didnt bring or rent any DVDs so cant speak to how well they worked. The balcony has a gas BBQ grill, a table and 4 chairs. Room 254 overlooks a grassy area. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
