  Good stay in nice village

  My daughter and myself stayed the night on our way back from the Riviera. The gasthaus was functional, clean and very conveniently located in a nice village 5 min from the autobahn. Staff was welcoming. Though they did not speak English, they understood what we meant and did their best for us to do the same. They have a restaurant serving simple and honest food with cold beer. We then had a walk in the quiet village and a nearby hill to stretch our legs before bedtime. All good, highly recommended for a stop over.

  A pleasant stay

  Visiting our Twin Town which is not far away we decided upon the Gasthaus Roessle as a base for the visit. A really good choice, a quiet village with a car park at the rear of the building. Comfortable beds with delightful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will book again when we go on our next visit

  A delightful country inn

  Excellent room, nice evening meal in the sun on the patio, and a plentiful breakfast buffet. Nice overnight experience, with very friendly family service. A country inn conveniently close to motorway A7.

  Nicht freundlich-Not friendly

  We were here by coincidence because if car-problems. We were given this hotel because our car needed repair. We want to warn everyone who wants to come here about the extreme unfriendlyness of these people. They tried to make us pay an extra day because we wanted to wait here for our car. We could not even leave luggages to wait. They preferred to have us wait outside in the rain while their reception is a few meters away. If you want to see the remainders of nazi-DNA, come to this hotel and meet the fraulein-führer and the herr Rössle-Schiffsjunghe. And by the way, the "hotel" is not at all what is looks on the foto's...it's located right over a do-it-yourself supermarket on a busy crossroad. Lots of noise at night because of passing cars (tourists going up from Italy or Austria). Wifi sucks and forget 3G. I thougt to share this episode to warn all of you wanting to stop here.

  Comfortable stopover hotel.

  We decided to stop here for one night as we were passing through Germany. Check in was smooth and welcoming. The room was large and very clean. The bed was two singles pushed together and unlike a lot of hotels they actually stayed together. The shower was large enough to accommodate me (fairly large bloke). Everything worked as it should. Breakfast was of a good standard. Overall we were very happy with our stay.
