  Nice hotel in a small town

  Second stay here. Clean, fairly new hotel in Altamont, Ill. Located near exit off interstate 70 and easy to get to. Offers nice complimentary breakfast. Fresh, warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival is a welcoming treat!

  Great place to stay

  We highly recommend the Cobblestone Inn in Altamont if you are traveling through the area (it is right off the highway). They are dog friendly (for a daily fee) and there is ample room to walk your dog outside. There is a small bar and store. Breakfast (eggs, waffles, bacon or sausage, yoghurt, juice, coffee, etc.) is included. There is also ample free parking.

  First time stay @ a Cobblestone

  This was the first Cobblestone I have ever stayed at. It was only two years old and immaculately clean. It had a video gaming room, free breakfast, business center and lounge that sold alcohol and beer and wine. My room was big with high ceilings and extremely clean with a microwave and refrigerator with a nice large screen flat panel tv with huge amount of stations. They also allow dogs for an additional $25 fee. Breakfast was tasty, plentiful and clean. The only thing I would have liked to see was a discount for senior citizens like almost every other hotel offers.

  We were only in town for 1 night, but this facility was extremely clean, including our room. Had very nice employees, they made you feel right at home. Would stay again for sure! Close to interstate. Highly recommend.

  Wonderful stay

  My fiance and I stayed at this hotel on the way to Texas. He's a truck driver and we had some time so decided to treat ourselves to a nice night out. Everyone that we came into contact with was beyond nice. Profesional, welcoming, kind. They treated us very well. The room was clean and comfy. We had a room lookin out at our truck which was nice. The bathroom was decently sized and not cramped. Breakfast was actually pretty nice considering it was grab and go due to covid. They had a few options of muffins, danishes, sausage biscuit and fruit cups. Nothing fancy, but suitable and easy. We would definetly stay here again in our travels and plan to do so. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!
