  Great change

  The hotel has got a perfect makeover. Located in manana near to gold city mall, lots of shops around, streets , restaurant etc. Easy booking managed directly with the hotel, complimentary airport pickup, check in was smooth. Room has undergone a make over as well. Complimentary water and Tea/ Coffee in room. Complimentary breakfast included. Rated as average - good. Special lunch menus available during weekend. Night clubs , spa available in hotel. Hotel is well maintained, safe to stay, sufficient security staff on duty during the evening hours when the clubs are open No disturbance during your stay and its just like any other hotel. The managers and General manager keep visiting the various outllets in the hotel and they came across to shake hands / enquire if the stay was comfortable. Overall good place to stay for a break.

  Bahrain trip

  Hotel delmon is located in the center of Manama and staff were very cooperative with its customers. With regard to food the Gujarati thali really good and room service is just okay..take too much much time to attend.

  Better than I expected

  I had heard so many bad stories about this hotel before I went there, like it was supposed to be a den of iniquity at night, when prostitutes would come knocking at your door, etc. But to my surprise it was nothing like that at all. I had a perfectly undisturbed night's sleep. That said, I found the room rather dull, even though all the usual amenities were there. It also smelt very damp and musty, like you might expect from way back in the past. Clearly, they need to refurbish and get a more modern feel to the place, though perhaps this faded staleness is something that appeals to the Arabic guests, who seemed to make up the largest part of the clientele. For me the real highlight was the excellent buffet breakfast, better than most i've experienced in Bahrain. Also, the location was great for the souks, etc, and also within easy strike of the City Centre Mall. The bus stop is just 50 metres up the road. It's also near the bus station if you're heading back to Saudi Arabia. Nevertheless, I would say that generally you're much better off staying in one of the Juffair hotels, particularly if you're a westerner. There's so much more of interest happening in that area. I'm glad I've checked this hotel out, though.

  Average Gujarati thaali

  The sign board Gujarati thali attracted me to the restaurant annexed with Deleon hotel - although it was lunchtime, I was the only customer when I went inside - later a group of four joined - the girl at the desk was dull - didnt understand my question as to why the hall was empty - later she brought a thaali , a plate having 3-4 vegetable gravies and two types of lentils - the dishes were average - was also served fresh made chapatis - though I told him to make without putting any butter - the puris - fried puffed bread - too were good - wished it a few more items - caution : most of the lentil items had a pinch of sugar or sweetness - a common thing in Gujarati cuisines

  VERY UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE *ONE GUY*

  Since 2009 I know this Digger bar I meet so many people in this bar I never have problems with any staff I used to come to watch primer league .the only thing is one barman with bold head his 100% unprofessional. Whenever we ask him to change the game this is the 3rd time he refuses to change the channel for the game...at the same time we can watch 2 different games but the way he replies it's not hospitality skills, Should management give him anger management training, Guest communication training, We are very upset with the service..
