  Buen apartamento

  Apartamento muy cómodo y agradable, moderno, con cocina muy completa. Está al lado de una carretera con mucho tráfico pero por la noche no tiene mucho ruido. La ubicación está bien, no es céntrico pero se puede ir andando a Princes Street en 15 minutos. La recepción está en otro edificio en la misma calle. El wifi funciona muy bien.

  Good location

  Easy walking distance of Haymarket station and not far from Lothian Road. The apartment was well equipped, including lovely toiletries in the bathroom. The bed was very comfy, linen was fresh and very clean. Iron and ironing board, safe and hairdryer all provided, tucked into the wardrobe. The kitchen has fridge, microwave, oven with hot plate, washing machine and dish washer. Amazing how much can be packed into so small a space. All the windows open, great for when it was so hot. Only word of caution is that the neighbourhood is not the quietest. Didn't out me off, though. The staff on reception were very friendly and welcoming. The reception is a short walk up Grove Street from the accommodation. You have to check in and check out there, just so as you know.

  Perfect to see in the new year

  Great location for the price and main attractions within walking distance. Bed was super comfy and the towels big and fluffy. Room had basic furnish but ideal for a short stay. Staff on reception were super friendly. And the milk on arrival was appreciated! Parking was close by and competitively priced so not sure why people have been so critical of it in their reviews. Only con was the level of cleaning - attention to detail was a little lacking. But would definitely stay here again.

  4 días , buen sitio para recuperar las jornadas de excusión.

  Alojamiento recomendable. Fuimos la familia(abuela y peque incluido). Ubicación, 1,5 km a Ciudad Vieja, fácil de llegar a todos lados(yo andarín ligero llegaba en 12´a Royal Mile). Cocina estupenda y con detalles(tenían de cortesia: azucar, sal, pimienta, té, botellita leche fresca, unas cuantas cápsulas para máquina de café...). Zona tranquila, al super(Tesco Express) menos de 5´andando. Calefacción para quitarse el frío que traes de la calle. Tv de bastantes pulgadas(eso si para ensayar el inglés). Recepcionistas correctos y colaboradores, en ocasiones hay uno que habla español. Sitio correcto y sin tachas.

  Great apartments in a fab location

  We stayed here for 4 nights as thats all we could have off work. We had an apartment on the 2nd floor and was really comfortable for a family of 4. You have a cupboard on entry for coats and shoes then the lounge with 2 sofas a coffee table and tv. The Kitchen has a dining table, washing machine, cooker, fridge, kettle and microwave oh and a coffee machine! Everything we needed was there including wine, champagne glasses and and ice tray. Having the small balcony was nice although not a wonderful view (but it is in the city) it was nice to stand or sit out in a morning. Bedrooms were cosy with wardrobes and a little dressing table, plenty of sockets for hairdryer and phone charging etc. For me the bed was a bit uncomfortable however we all have different tastes. Bathroom was lovely with a shower over the bath, plenty of mirrors and towels. The whole apartment was clean, we were really pleased! On one of the mornings the fire alarm went off due to someone cooking in another apartment, we evacuated and the manager and fire brigade turned up. I have only mentioned this in my review because I think its good to know they have safety aspects in place. The kids thought it was good! When I rang ahead I asked if I could have a parking space, unfortunately they didnt have one in our block but they did in Grove so we parked there. It meant a short walk to the car each day but £12 a day parking in a secure parking area in the city I think is really good! There are quite a few restaurants by the apartments including a fab steak house which we visited twice. We were a 10 minute walk from the city centre and the castle and if we get the opportunity to visit Edinburgh again we will stay here!
