  Maravilloso lugar!!

  Excelente servicio, cuartos acogedores con friobar, es una casona colonial remodelada y convertida en hotel, por lo que su arquitectura es muy bonita, el restaurante del hotel es uno de los mejores de toda la ciudad, y cuenta con una entrada privada a la playa. Recomiendo mucho este hotel.

  Nice little hotel

  My family and i stayed one night in this quaint little hotel. The views are definitely grand! We had a nice room, ate a very good dinner at the grille that is on premises. In the morning we walked on the lovely beach after breakfast. Wish our stay was longer!

  A quaint quiet escape with stunning views and cooling breezes.

  My wife and I spent two nights at The Grand View Beach Hotel at the end of a sailing vacation. I immediately liked the people running the hotel, the hotel, the grounds, and the location. Being located on a point well above the beach, there are plenty of commanding views and cooling breezes. You can gaze at the ocean from the pool, the dining room, just about anywhere. There is a real sense of history and an artsy feel. If you don't want to be shoehorned into a noisy crowded beach hotel, consider the Grand View.

  A friendly hotel with a touch of class

  We returned as we had enjoyed our first stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful and are attentive, making sure you had what you needed. This goes for the owners, bar staff, cleaners,security - all taking service to the next level. We had room 18 with a balcony and view across the sea. This was an excellent combination for sunsets were we saw the sun go right down to the horizon. From this balcony you can also see (but not hear) the fuel tanker run its pipe to the shore for the occasional delivery. The views generally around this hotel are great. It is a great location for wildlife with pilot whales, iguanas and various birds seen from the breakfast room windows! Bats could be seen 20 mins after sunset. The hotel was quiet. just down the hill, through the gardens was Grand View Grill restaurant, Indian Bay which was great for snorkeling, particularly the 2 small islands 50 yards offshore towards Young Island. With just a brief bus ride to Kingstown 2EC$, you can very easily see the shops, buildings, cruise terminal and horticultural gardens.

  Charming old-world small hotel with grand. View, wonderful staff and central location

  The Grand View is built around an old British military building with new additions such as a wing of modern rooms and a restful atrium in the lobby. The older part of the hotel has real old-world charm - grand staircase, lovely wooden floors. Situated of a point with sweeping views up and down the coast, the hotel is ten minutes by car or "Van" from Kingstown, twenty from the airport, and close to many nesrby restaurants along the coasts. We stayed ten days and rented a car for five of them to get tonight's such as Montreal Gardens. Nice pool on the point. Snug bar where we watched the sun set every evening -- thanks, Michael! Owners were friendly an attentive as we're all the staff. Local art on the walls. Good breakfast selection every day - fresh fruit!! This is not a glitzy hotel, but instead a gracious and relaxed small hotel with a wonderful ethos.
