  good hotel to stay overnight

  Although this hotel is not in the center of Dusseldorf, it is not so far away. By tram it is 15 minutes away. Rooms are simple but enough comfortable. By my opinion hotel needs refurbishment. Breakfast is standard for three stars business hotel.

  Unfriendly Staff

  The Reception staff is very unfriendly and rude. We have this feeling that we dont even want to ask something cause maybe we just get an angry face. He should get another job i would recommend if he's not happy to serve people... but for sure not in the hotels.

  Very good hotel

  I stayed in this hotel for a conference in the university, and I was very pleased with every aspect. The location is great for conferences, one of few hotels in Düsseldorf in walking distance to university and hospital (but also easy to reach from the railway station and town centre). Staff were always friendly with me, rooms clean, quiet and of good size, breakfast in a pleasant room with a generous selection of good and fresh food. And even the room prices are modest, I would certainly stay there again.

  Cancelled flight stay.

  Stayed here for one night as my flight home had been cancelled. Room was clean and warm, but I wouldn't think it was a four star hotel. Room very basic (no tea / coffee facilities, mini bar ) I asked for a wake up call and the guy in charge said the phones didn't all work but he did come in person and knock on the door. (fair play) Breakfast started at 7am but we had gone by then, there was also no food option (no eatery on site) Overall, not a place I would personally pick but done the job it had to do.

  Quiet hotel with parking but upgrade probably not worth it

  The good: The area is very quiet. I found the bed quite firm and comfortable. Good public transport links. Free parking and no green badge required. The curtains are thick and block light. The shower was great. The staff were helpful. The not so good: I felt the upgraded room wasn't worth price. Being garden side makes no difference to noise. The room was very warm. This will be great in winter but not summer! It had full opening doors but at night this meant you couldn't draw curtains. We also bought Dusseldorf cards through the hotel, but rather than waiting till we arrived, these were activated from 3pm of our day of arrival so we lost time on these(we arrived 9pm!). So if you want a quiet hotel with good transport links and without the problems of taking a car into the city centre, this hotel is good but don't bother paying for the upgraded rooms.
