  Horrible Service and room

  Checked in and got a room above the lounge. It sounded like we were actually in the lounge. I could feel the base on the floor and even with the TV on and the A/C on the music was LOUD in the room. I went out in the hall and it was quieter there than in the in the room. I called and asked to be moved and Nadia told me she would check and call me back. After waiting 25 minutes I went down to the front desk, Nadia was busy so I waited until everyone was gone and asked again if we could be moved. She clicked around on the computer for a couple of minutes and told me that there were no rooms available and I could not be moved. I told her that I was going to get my wife and my bags and come back to check out. I came back 10 minutes later and told Nadia to check me out. She picked up the phone and was talking to someone, she left and came back about 10 minutes later. She said she talked to the manager and was wondering if I would be willing to move to another room. I told her no, I was done with the hotel and to check me out and refund my money. My wife and I went over and checked in at the Holiday Inn Express at the Ontario Mills Mall at 4th and Milliken. The staff was wonderful, very attentive and friendly. We got a great room and ended up having a great weekend.

  Business Billing Difficult for Them

  I've booked several hotel rooms for 12 people each staying at least 4 nights. In every reservation there was something difficult to them regarding billing. Most of the time you couldn't reach Renea I called 4 times in a week and kept going to voicemail and seemed to be the only person who was able to track receipts down. I used the same credit card for each reservation and two of the reservation happened to not have a credit card on the profile. Another reservation the name was backwards and wouldn't allow the guest to check-in so I was charged for that entire stay plus the guest was charged on their person credit card for the separate stay they had to make on site. If your looking for a place who can reserve rooms for a large number of people look elsewhere because the front desk and management get extremely confused quickly.

  Work on progress

  We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. They addressed issues timely and accordingly to satisfaction. I understand things happen, Our key cards did not work any time we tried to enter our room we had to go down to the front desk and get new room keys after the second time they did instruct us to pick up the courtesy phone on the floor by the elevators and they would accommodate us by bringing up a new set of keys to us. Not only the repetitive problem but our hotel room was actually the last room at the end of the hallway.Then On the second day we left at approximately 10am in the morning and returned back around 6 PM to find a room had not been serviced we immediately took a shower and had plans for the evening to go out I was I stop by the front desk I instructed them that I would like towels due to the fact that our room was not serviced and they were able to accommodate our room being serviced while we are out for the evening for dinner so they were definitely on top of it once things were brought to their attention.

  This hotel was a disappointment

  I was given a room without blackout curtains - that was a first for me. Room was promptly swapped - and explanation was given that older rooms do not have those curtains. The noise from the highway in the room was really bad, tap water was not drinkable, vending machine on the floor was broke. Also, the shuttle service from the airport did not exist - after a long wait at the shuttle bus pickup I called and was told to take a cab. This hotel does not meet the standards for other Holiday Inn hotels and is overpriced. It needs more attention and updates considering how much I had to pay. So - not recommended - go someplace else

  Great place to stay

  Very friendly and attentive staff here at the Holiday Inn, who are also willing to address concerns and take a proactive investment in finding a solution that is fair and reasonable. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet which is fantastic when you want to relax and unwind. They are also positioned in the community in terms of having access to many different restaurants and entertainment option that are close in proximity to the property. I will definitely stay here again!
