Great apartment for families!Googled best family hotel in Tokyo and this hotel came up. We loved the amount of space our three kids had in the apartment. Apart from a good size living room and full kitchen, we had two double bed lofts and a good size chaise lounge sofa. The hotel is 2 Min walk from TCat terminal so its very convenient from the airport. Only thing is its about 10-15 min walk from the train station on the Hibuya line so it gets a little cold walking back in the evening. But apart from that, we loved the apartment and kids loved having Netflix!

Great family rooms! We stayed here for 3 nights and although it is not right in the heart of the more popular tourist areas it is very easy to get around. The metro station is only a 5 minute walk away and the bus that takes you out to the airport is across the road from the metro station. All very convenient. There are also quite a few restaurants and grocery stores around the hotel. The room was huge and very well appointed. The family room is more like an apartment with 4 separate beds, a good sized well appointed kitchen, a sitting area, very good bathroom and laundry facilities. There is no restaurant but you can easily self cater as the kitchen has all the basics. The staff were very helpful and spoke quite good English.

Amazing place for familiesThis hotel is great to travel with kids, it is really modern, spacious ( for Japan standards), clean, and the staff is really helpful. the hotel is located close to the TCAT , and you could get directly from the airport and walk a couple of blocks. If you have the JR- pass there is not a direct stop, but you could get in other train lines, buses and taxis really easy. We got the room B, and it was perfect for 2 adults and one kid. The beds seem a little hard at the beginning, but we slept really well. Each day we got a bag with toiletries, and the room was spotless. The bathroom is small but it has everything you need. There is only one tiny elevator, but we never had to wait for it. We traveled for some days to Osaka and we were able to leave our big luggage at the hotel until we arrived for our last night in Tokyo. The room has a kitchenette, and a good size TV with Netflix . I only wish it was closer to Tokyo station so we could use our JR pass more.

Great hotelWe stayed in Tokyo for 7 nights all up. Hotel was great. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were very good. Nothing in this hotel is on a large scale, but that's ok, this is Tokyo, after all. Be warned, like most Japanese beds, the pillows and mattresses are very firm! The hotel rooms have a decent washing machine (with Japanese labels) - this was great to use to wash our clothes as we went.

Great stay for familyWe needed space for family on our trip to Tokyo and had to weigh up two adjoining hotel rooms versus an apartment hotel. For the price, this was the better option as central hotels are expensive. Hotel Axas is a cross between serviced apartment and hotel - reception desk staffed more like a hotel, but room cleaning only on request (but available daily) is more like an apartment. The location was in a quite part of Tokyo, only 100m from the airport bus terminal. Its between two metro lines. And has small supermarkets close by. However its not a bustling or trendy area. The room had four beds, dining table, full kitchen, bathroom and laundry with washing machine in the room. Plenty of space for our young kids. On balance, it gets near full marks as it met everything we needed as a family hotel and there really are not many to chose from in Tokyo!
