  Preciosas vistas

  Nos quedamos tres noches en este hotel de vistas espectaculares que se encuentra cerca de Forio, sobre la playa y a poca distancia de las Termas de Poseidón. La gestión es familiar y el personal fue siempre muy amable y disponible y nos cambió de habitación sin problemas el segundo día cuando lo solicitamos por ruidos en la zona donde estábamos inicialmente. Contratamos media pensión y fue un gran acierto. La cena, de tres platos, la eliges del menú por la mañana y fue siempre muy buena y el desayuno a buffet contaba con un delicioso café espresso, como es de esperar en Campania.

  We would definitely recommend this hotel

  We have just returned from a 10 day holiday at this hotel. On arrival our first reaction was that 'we had turned up at an old peoples home'. There were a number of elderly people sitting playing cards. We were shown around the hotel and at this stage we realised that our first impression was wrong. Our room was in the basement which was lovely as we had our own garden . It was extremely clean and well presented. This continued through the time of our stay. The pool area, indoor pool area are fine but need a little bit of smartening up. ie there was some tiles missing in the pool and the whole area of the indoor pool could do with a good coat of paint. The gym was really just a token. The food was absolutely amazing we were half board and we never had anything which was not excellent. The only criticism is that the time of the evening meal was 7.30pm - 8.30pm we did get used to it but another hour would have been ideal. You also have to chose the evening meal at breakfast (I can see why they do this as everything is produced at the hotel). It almost felt that the kitchen was run round them not the customer. but it really did not spoil it as the food was so good. The staff were brilliant very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It is a small family run hotel which is run to perfection. We did some research before we chose this hotel and we are so pleased that we did

  Special place

  We have just spent a week here and are so pleased that we choose to spend our first visit to Ischia at this hotel. It is a family run hotel and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The room we had opened onto a garden area with a sea view . The garden areas around the hotel are beautiful and immaculately kept. The room was lovely , it was clean and had masses of storage space compared to some places we have stayed in the past . We were on half board and the food was delicious , obviously freshly cooked and using some of the ingredients from the families land . You order your choice of evening meal at breakfast but this was actually good. All day to look forward to whatever you have chosen ! There was so much food and such a variety there is no chance of anyone going hungry here ! Breakfast was the same so much choice and such a variety of food. There are various activities and trips organised by the hotel throughout the week but we just did the trip to Santa Maria al Monte . We had the best time ever. The trip up the narrow mountain roads was an experience in itself ! We were shown around the house and the land and then back to the house for bruschetta and wine followed by the best sing a long ever ! It was so much fun and we learnt so much about the history of Ischia . I cant recommend this trip highly enough. Also dont miss the Ischian evening and gala dinner . All the staff worked so hard to make these nights a success . The impression I got is the family are proud of their roots and culture and happily share it with their visitors making you feel like you are a guest at a family occasion . We will be back DV .

  Wonderful hotel

  We stayed in October . Weather warm and sunny. Hotel excellent. Superb welcome . Lovely room with balcony and sea view. Very clean and comfortable. It is a family owned hotel and the welcome was so friendly. Throughout our stay the staff were always most helpful. The food is very good and plentiful. Easy to get about in Ischia we bought a one week bus pas for 14 .50 euros which gave unlimited journeys during our stay . Would definitely recommend this hotel .

  Anniversary Get Away

  This was a quick weekend getaway to celebrate our Anniversary and our first trip since pandemic. Originally booked else where, but after walking by Hotel Providence and having a welcoming conversation with Giampaolo, we checked out original hotel and in to Hotel Providence. This is a Beautiful Gem of a hotel. It is very clean, masks(1) and sanitizer are available. We were given a choice of room. It was a renovated room, very pretty, modern decor consistent with Italian and Mediterranean design. Our view was into the garden with a fish pond, very relaxing. Services for the spa were available. The pools were nice.The thermal pool was amazing. We were offered Fresh Fruit and drinks poolside. There are gardens to walk through, there is a gym, many outside sitting areas that allow you to take in the Gorgeous views of the island. Breakfast was included and was buffet style with servers, it was very good. ***be sure to try the marmalada made by Mama*** WiFi is available but limited in lower areas, was not an issue, our children were still able to stream from iPads. Located in walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Hotel offers shuttle service into town centre. I cannot say enough good things about Hotel Providence. This is a Beautiful Gem of a Hotel.
