  NECESITA UNA REFORMA

  Este hotel se ha quedado un poco anticuado, especialmente en lo que tiene que ver con las habitaciones, por ejemplo las ventanas, necesitan ser cambiadas, y el cuarto de baño reformado. Además no tiene ascensor.

  Wifi

  Tanto las instalaciones como el trato del staff del hotel , es extraordinario. No obstante, he de destacar que el servicio de wifi es muy flojo. La señal es muy mala; por lo tanto, para cualquier viajero concretamente en mi caso, que estamos por trabajo, necesitamos conexión óptima para poder desempeñar nuestro trabajo conectando con nuestras respectivas empresas, que en ocasiones , están fuera de Francia. Eso es todo

  Convenient overnight stay.

  Plenty of private parking spaces quick/efficient check in process. Room was okay but smaller than other Ibis hotels we have stayed in. Tea/coffee facilities in room. No aircon. Restaurant had both internal and outside spaces for eating. Evening meal was very tasty and enjoyable. The first course was a buffet and because you shared serving spoons you had to rely on other people having sanitized before use. Breakfast but same comment about the breakfast buffet applies. Perhaps the management should look at this aspect.

  Would definitely stay here again

  I am not sure what people are moaning about, this is a lovely hotel, with really friendly staff, good restaurant, okay limited menu but well prepared and well cooked, very covid friendly, felt incredibly safe. The rooms were modern and well maintained, the pod bathroom was great, absolutely nothing to complain about, the bed was so comfortable, we could have missed our return crossing. If you dont want to eat at the restaurant, there are plenty of other places to eat within easy walking distance. If you just want to top up on beverage supplies prior to returning to the UK, its ideally situated within 800m of a lidl. Great all round, definitely stay again

  Restaurant problems

  Having decided to stop in Abbeville on our way back to the UK for a short stay we booked this IBIS rather than the IBIS budget for one reason only, they have a restaurant and as an added bonus it has a gluten free menu. Imagine our surprise when arriving at the hotel to find that they dont have a gluten free menu and that the options were very limited not only for dinner but also for breakfast. To be honest on our return trip from the UK they did provide gluten free madeleines for breakfast but then the restaurant was not open on the Saturday night, we were told there wasnt a chef, could this be because there were only 8 cars in the car park !. We received an email asking us to comment on the facilities etc and when we did we received an email saying they werent going to publish it as their website doesnt say they have a gluten free menu, please see photo I have attached for proof that it does. As regards facilities the shower was in one of those toilet, sink, shower pods and there was some mound where the two pieces of the shower joined. This IBIS wont stop me using others in the chain but I will not be going back there. Maybe try the IBIS budget if you intend staying in Abbeville as you dont seem to get better facilities by paying more.
