Great location but tiny roomsConvenient location in Tenjin with plenty of dining and shopping in this trendy area. Easily walkable to public transportation, and for us, also very close to our car rental location. Check in was breezy and service was friendly and expedient. The only downside is that the rooms are really small, even by Japanese standards. Been to many hotels in the country and this is one of the smallest I can recall! There really wasnt any space to open the suitcase... But everything is clean and well appointed, so its fine with me. The adjacent restaurant looks very nice but didnt get the chance to try the breakfast.

Old hotel in the City Center of FukuokaThe location of the hotel in the city center of Fukuoka was good. A lot of restaurants, bars and shops around. Walking distance to the Metro about 5 minutes and direct access to the airport or Hakata train station. The hotel staff was firendly and help you wherever they can. The rooms are old, like the whole hotel. They seems to be clean, but due to the age of the hotel everything looks old, ugly and dirty somehow. Even the bathroom gives you the feeling of being dirty by used for so long time. The whole feeling during our stay was, that the hotel should be reconditioned. The breakfast was a typical Japanese breakfast. Almost no choice of western items. Some kind of toast or sandwich with a horrible taste. The rest of the buffet was Japanese style. Not so convenient. All in all we have to say that the location is good, but the hotel itself need to be reconditioned. It's in it's age and looks old and dirty. Even it might not be, but the feeling makes it not to a real recommendable place.

Excellence location!Stayed here for 2 nights. Strategic location at the city center, centrally located in Tenjin district, which surrounded by many eateries, convenient shops and shopping streets. Many department stores are nearby too, very happening at night. There were two nearby subways, you can stopped at either Akasaka station or Tenjin station, both stations from hotel is between 6 to 8 minutes walking distance. The hotel lobby was nice and spacious, the waiting area are quite comfortable that you can spend time there for reading. In general, the hotel room is standard, small but equipped with everything that you need, the bathroom attached with the bathtub too. The only cons was little noisy at night due to nearby to many eateries that operated till late night. All in all, it still worth for the values for short stay.

RuseDon't be fooled by the photos ,mainly concerning the nice shots of breakfast. There is no breakfast...no coffee, no water. This is an overpriced building that masks itself as a 3-star hotel, but in reality, you can find better lodgings at a hostel...having at least gained the upper hand with being able to enjoy a breakfast. The inside of the building smells, the staff speak ZERO English....on that note, fact it. English is the language of the world (for now), not Japanese, not Korean...ENGLISH. Having some staff that can at least comprehend and communicate a few ideas would be a start. The location does not save this place from receiving a bottom feeder review. A gal was playing with my door handle (from the outside) and I suspect, there was some mischief taking place. I know this because when I opened the door, she very quickly walked away, to the elevator. I would have brought it i up to the hotel but there are no cameras to justify my complaint. I cannot believe I paid money for this place. The room is NOT 3-Star quality. The bathroom is the made for size of hobbits. The television is not equipped with channels that matter. There is no water, no coffee, no tea to enjoy and the wifi seems be maintained by a hamster wheel. I do NOT recommend this wanna-ba 3 star sink hole....unless you enjoy being fooled. The only good thing I can say, is, the the lady that checked me in did a good job. After that, it is all crap.

Convenient Hotel near SubiwayFrom Fukuoka Airport, buy the one day subway pass (it is cheaper as you can go for unlimited rides). Take the subway from airport to akasaka station exit 5. Come out. walk 10m and turn right at first junction. Hotel is about 400 m to the right as you walk down the lane. There is a small carpark in front of the hotel and it is covenient to drop there and collect your bags. The staff is nice and welcoming. You collect what you require for your stay from the table provided at the registration area. I will come back again.
