  (Now Premier Inn!!) Great staff, clean throughout, good restaurant

  Staying at the Premier Inn, New Bridge St, on a regular basis, I find the staff utterly amazing - totally helpful and there for whatever you need (they make the place!). The hotel is clean and well kept, the bar and restaurant are also good. Well worth a visit!

  Just ok...

  The positives are it's location and some really good double glazing that keeps all the road noise out. Both me and my travel partner could not hear any noise from outside even though the hotels is on a busy dual carriageway. Really good air conditioning as well. The ok comment covers most other things. The room was clean enough although slightly tired in parts. The breakfast was tasty, although the hot selection was missing hash browns, mushrooms, tomato, fried eggs and for me black pudding. I've nothing bad to say and the staff are all lovely and helpful and I suppose 3.5 / 5 would be a fairer representation. One thing I did notice when I checked out was a restaurant menu / takeaway menu portfolio all bound In a book which i thought was a good idea.

  Adequate Hotel in Central Location

  We stayed here for one night in August 2018 and werent disappointed. Close to the station, the football stadium and the centre of Newcastle, the hotel is of a typical Holiday Inn standard. Rooms were clean and breakfast was OK. The hotel did allow us to check in early which was much appreciated. If you are looking for a mid range hotel in a good location in Newcastle, this one is worth considering.

  Family Stay

  We stayed here went we went to see a show in December . It was very nice and met all the requirements we need as a family . The staff were very friendly on reception and we found the breakfast to be very adequate for what we wanted . We would stay here again as it was very comfortable.

  Value for money

  Stayed here overnight during a night out in Newcastle. Hotel is very central and clean. Staff were very friendly from checking in and also gave advice on nearby area. The buffet style breakfast was also good as it had good choice.
