  Pleasant surprise

  Getting to Cyprus was easy once you understand the requirements, we did private CV test, paperwork was checked at airport before we were able to fly, then again on entry. We were booked into Tasia Maris oasis for a week all Inc, big surprise when we found it closed and dusty. Eventually saw sign saying reception at River Rock, big relief, so eventually was offered room there (literally same complex) to use all River Rock resources, I agreed to move to rooms here with sea and pool view, explored and content. So River Rock was very quiet, staff amazing, food all off menu and cooked fresh, booze was good too, pool area great, clean and comfy. I have to admit was really concerned but ended up really happy, a great break in a lovely hotel, was starting to get s little busier when we left, nearly half term. We love Cyprus and Napa, well worth the trip, about third open when we were there. A lovely chilled break, please take the opportunity and support the island.

  Good value for money, friendly hotel

  We stayed in River Rock for 3 nights exploring Ayia Napa. The room was plain, basic but clean, functional and had everything we needed. There is free, sheltered parking under the hotel but the route in is very tight, luckily we had a little car! The breakfast is ok, quite standard and not much option for vegetarians and no non dairy milk options. I found all of the staff to be extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming! Location is pretty good, its a 10 min walk to the sea front (Liminaki beach) with some good restaurant options but its worth driving 10-15 mins to either Nissi beach or Fig Tree Bay which are much nicer beaches. Thanks River Rock for a lovely stay.

  Should be more than a 3 star

  Stayed here with my partner first week of October 2020. And what a fabulous modern hotel, the food was a la carte except for breakfast due to covid.. the staff was amazing and so attentive to every need and also had a laugh with the guests as well. The Shisha bar on the front is a must to go and sit in and enjoy some cocktails at an evening. The hotel is small but personally I prefer this, location is ideal a 2 minute walk to bars and restaurants. Ive stayed in many hotels across Europe and this is by far the best value for money. The manager greeted us on arrival and even upgraded us to a pool view room free of charge which was nice. I would highly recommend this hotel if your a couple or group of friends as they have music playing throughout the day to suit everyone of that age. Im not sure if you would visit as a young family as I can imagine it gets quite loud during the peak of summer on a normal year.

  Covidly quiet, but nice area

  It was a nice solo getaway, even thou i did have my friend with me for a few days, but at the start and end i was alone... i also booked at tasia maris oasis but was directed to here, pretty much same establishment, very similar.. the rooms and hotel was quite plain n basic in style, but parts of the hotel looked nice n modern. Quite small.. but it was perfect for me.. the biggest postive for me was the hospitality.. the workers were very polite and, helped me with my enquiries.. the beach is very straight forward about 5-10minutes, a supermarket on d way n a few shops.. overall it was very quiet in the hotel not much quests but also the area, most likely due to covid.. but i enjoyed a break with not much people around as i was paranoid as it is. Breakfast was included in my package, the first morning after eating breakfast 5minutes after walking back to room belly was turning, as soon as i hot in room i was vomiting my guts up.. i was curious what.. i had egg, bacon, bread and a coffee.. i thought it must been d milk. The milk was in a jug out, thats the only thing i could think of.. i was abit reluctant to eat breakfast again, but the rest of the days i only had egg, bread and a yogurt.. no milk out.. and i was fine since then.. you mite be fine just b careful.. all the other food i had 2 pay for at lunch and dinner but i had no problems it was nice, spot on.. overall nice chilled holiday if ur looking for relaxation and a few nice scenerys n beaches not far with a cab.

  Fantastic Hotel

  We stayed here in Oct 2020. Ayia Napa was very quiet as the season had finished and obviously because of Covid. However this meant that myself and my young family (myself,wife and children 10 and 11) were able to enjoy a nice relaxed holiday. The hotel was spotless throughout. We didn't originally purchase the all inclusive package however we upgrade while we were there. The all inclusive package was fantastic. Full menu of food throughout the day, set meal at night all waiter served. Lots of cocktails also included. The pool was great, and exceptionally clean. The staff were great. Very welcoming and attentive. We received a nice welcoming gift of a bottle of fizz in our room as it was our anniversary. The room was great, free air con and nice walk in shower. If I booked again I would request a pool view as the road is a little noisy. Location is great, very handy for everything and a short walk to the beach and also the strip.
