  Late treat

  Another fantastic stay at Thalassa! In my opinion it is the best hotel in Lassi. Staff are brilliant, cleanliness is high and the overall layout makes any stay a perfect one. Pool, bar, breakfast, dining, cocktail bar all get a thumbs up from us, even in difficult times. Would I go back? You bet I would..

  Perfect weekend break

  We escaped to this beautiful hotel last weekend only booking on the morning of our stay.We absolutely loved the place.Peaceful,stylish,spotless and friendly.We are well travelled and our room was one of the most lovely we have ever stayed in with a view to die for.We had a late flight home and they gave us another great room for the whole day with no extra charge-a generous gesture that was much appreciated.The hotel is way better than 3 star but was also incredible value. All in all a fantastically run hotel that we cant wait to return to

  30th Wedding Anniversary Treat

  What a fab place we chose to spend our wedding anniversary. The room (627) was fab with spectacular views. The breakfast was limited in choice however, fresh and served with a smile. The lunch time choices were fine and we sampled the small plates with a shout out for the Tzatki and the night time wine and cocktails were fab with an happy hour to boot. Pool area was immaculate and the bar was well attended by a future ships captain in charge! Studying whilst ensuring we were well looked after. All of the staff deserve a mention as they all made us welcome and nothing was too hard for them. The maids who kept our room clean deserve a call out for the way they got on with their tasks with a smile on their faces behind their PpE. If you visit Lassi then the Thalassa hotel is well worth staying in.

  Superb hotel with good amenities in outstanding location and with very friendly staff

  We stayed at the Thalassa for a week at the end of September and it was perfect for us. It is in a wonderful position overlooking Lassi bay and this is the view from the charming lounge and dining areas. Angela and her team made us very welcome and the customer service and support were outstanding. The Hotel has two pools with many comfortable loungers among lovely olive trees and planting. There is a fantastic feeling of space around the pools and also in the reception, bar and breakfast areas. The location is brilliant for getting to beaches nearby and many great tavernas within walking distance. It's close to the airport and Argostoli and 30 minutes drive to Sami.. Considering the context of Covid the team at the Hotel were scrupulous in doing everything necessary to keep people safe. The hotel has been recently refurbished and our room was excellent - nicely designed, spacious and with everything one could want. We thought that Thalassa was terrific value for money taking into account the quality of the room, the wonderful position and amenities. Above all, however, special thanks to Angela and her team for their warmth and hospitality, and we look forward to returning again next year.

  After the storms..

  We arrived on the a Sunday following the Medicane (tropical cyclone) on the Friday, the island had been badly hit and the hotel was still trying to recover - Angela and her staff were there to meet us when we arrived and explained what had happened and what they were having to deal with, but with such a positive and can-do attitude, it was all about making us feel comfortable and for getting the place back in shape so we could enjoy our holiday. Trees had come down, rooms flooded from the rains and the beautiful open plan bar had been turned on its head - incredibly theyd pretty much fixed this by the Monday, only for heavy rains and thunder and lightening, like weve never seen before, to hit again on Tuesday, so they had to repeat the clean up exercises all over again, as well as deal with a period without electric again.. they still managed to provide food and drinks, and our rooms fixed really quickly and nothing was too much for the staff - all of them were courteous, pleasant and hard working staff. We were given a room on the first floor looking out to beautiful sea views, the rooms are boutique and have everything you need for a comfortable stay - they have put a lot of time and expense into making this a level higher than most other accommodation we saw when there (or online before). We only ate breakfast and some lunches, but they did try to provide vegan/veggie options, maybe less so of an evening, when it was limited to tomato pasta or something, but we wanted to get out and about anyway (lots of places within a comfortable walking distance) - if we had have stayed in I have no doubt that they would have cooked something lovely up for us. Angela really takes the time to make sure everything is just right, she even went out of her way to loan me her own iron and ironing board, when wed neglected to bring our own travel iron - shed also taken on board our emails ahead of time and gave us a room that fit the bill perfectly, so our anniversary trip could be special. Overall 5/5, considering everything theyd been through, and it was all about making it special for us regardless. We met nice fellow guests when there (who had been prepared also to spend a little extra to stay there) and the staff were lovely too. Location is perfect for views, bar and restaurant options, theres also the smallest bar (well caravan) on the smallest beach about 100 metres away, that is a quirky option that shouldnt be missed. Well go back hopefully - it definitely deserves another visit (hopefully without the cyclone ).
