Lovely room with kind hostAmager Guesthouse was perfect for my girlfriend and I. We chose it because we were able to park our car for free on the street. Erla also let us borrow 2 bikes during our stay and we saw so much of Copenhagen cycling. The room is perfect with a nice kitchen, and great shower. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect accommodation for a visit to CopenhagenWe stayed for two nights at this comfortable guesthouse with other family members, in the two bedroomed apartment. This provided more than adequate space and the kitchen facilities were an added bonus. Had the weather been better we would also have been able to sit outside where a table and chairs are provided. Our host was friendly and helpful and ensured that we had all that we needed. We found the location to be excellent, being effectively equidistant between airport and city and public transport was more than adequate to get us around. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

3 night stay went perfectlyOur family of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids) stayed 3 nights in the 2 bedroom unit and the place was spotless and had all the kitchen equipment needed to prepare simple meals. Sheets and towels are included in the price. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and provided coffee, tea, hand soap and all cleaning materials. One small thing that could be improved is the addition of hooks for towels in the bathroom. The beach is a 5-min drive away and downtown Copenhagen is 15-20 minutes away. There are supermarkets nearby and two buses that go into the city.

bedbug bitesI booked the place for 3 nights in Sept, 2015 based on good reviews of this place on trip adviser. The owners were very nice and kind people. It was quite convenient to get to the center of the city by bus from this place. However, after the first night, I found itchy spots on my body which I dismissed as allergic reaction to the detergent etc because my husband did not have any spots. After second night, there were a lot more bite marks on me including my back, legs, arms and face. I started to suspect it was a bedbug problem. My husband had few bite marks as well. I looked on the mattress and found some black spots, brown flakes, blood smear on the sheet and one bug. I informed the owner and they did try to clean the beddings, mattress etc themselves. It did not resolve the issue unfortunately. I think they were shocked as well for the infestation. As of the time we left, they have booked professional treatment. They apologized and refunded one night's fee as well as paid for our lunch. They also let us use the laundry and vacuum to clean our clothes and luggage. It was unfortunate and it did ruin our vacation as I became paranoid of bedbugs at other places as well as afraid of bringing them home.

Enjoyable stayWe stayed for two nights at the guesthouse. It was clean and it's well furnished which makes a pleasant impression. The host was very kind and could give us some good advice how to get into the city. There's a bus stop not far from the guesthouse. Fortunately, we could pay with euro and could communicate very easily with the host.
