  This Is No Boutique

  I read the reviews prior to booking and decided to take a chance. Heres the good the bad and ugly. I appreciate my trip was out of season , however one would expect a little more than what is. Good Stuff - 1) If like me, memory foam Beds are your thing - very comfortable. 2) if like me, you like being opposite the beach - a great location. 3) if like me you like being 1 hours walk from the Huss and bustle - this is the hotel for you. 4) Friendly staff. Not so good Stuff: 1) been to boutique hotels, this is not not. 2) over priced reservation. 3) dirty and dusty room 4) fridge not working 5) lift not working 6) run cold water for ages until warm. 7) Small rooms and no spare plug sockets. 8)room and hotel are in need of a upgrade to replace whats broken or not working. 9) Little or no sound proofing between rooms and floors. 10) guests from other rooms smoking is apparent.

  Fab Holiday - Good Improvements

  I got a last minute B&B deal (19 to 25 May 2019) and was a little worried on the reviews read, however, for the price + flights + transfers it was a great wee break. Reception was helpful and friendly and both spoke good English. The top room with balcony and beach view was perfect. Be warned though the safe costs 15Lt a day and there's no pool but the beach was across the road. The Improvements made... They have put new beds in which where very comfortable and the fridges have all been replaced. Cleaners came by each day and all in all the place was mopped and cleaned every day. Room slightly dated but comfortable and air con worked. The bathroom did the job but could do with better shower out put and lighting but it was fine. On booking B&B and with the coming season starting, I was told the kitchen was closed till the wednesday. The manager however was very nice and saw I had scrambled eggs each morning. The breakfast could be improved as was pretty Turkish basic but there is the option to go nearby and get a full breakfast for around 23Lt or pop up to the shops and put stuff in the fridge for convenience. The Thomas Cook rep was a twit trying to oversell then tried to short change me but recommend the massage as it was terrific for the price. Boat tours cheaper on visiting the marina! There's plently of places to eat on the esplinade and the walk to Icelemer is beautiful and takes about 40 minutes. Buses back frequent and 3Lt. 40p If you want a good day out there's a 12 hour tour to Fethiye and choice to go water rafting and Paragliding for £22. PG Costs was £65 + £23 for the photos and video. It was a fantastic day out and booking places all along main strip into Marmaris. If your not to fussed and on a budget this 3* hotel is great for all and families and I plan to return later in the year and felt safe. Be warned it can be a little noisy with evening music from next door but does finish at 12am. Thank you for a wonderful holiday break.

  I dont recommend this hotel. Its not clean. Staff have breakfast before us. Table sheets are stained and filthy. Rooms are not cleaned on daily basis. Apparently the 5th floor is newly added. The ceiling is very low. Its extremely hot inside with the Air Conditioning unit put on the balcony, giving hot air.

  Beware of LOUD drag show EVERY night!

  Before I stayed at the hotel (formerly Beach Bliss but now rebranded) in August I was surprised by the lack of reviews in the last few years. This is in need of urgent correction and I would recommend anyone thinking of making a booking reads this before finalising as there have been some important changes there even in the last two months (since Summer 2020). There are some real positives to the hotel, but at least one big potential negative. The noise at night from a drag show EVERY night around 9pm to at least around midnight is REALLY loud. From several accounts, the drag show has only been going at the hotel for around one or two months since it was transferred from a different hotel in Marmaris. Since then, the front bar area at Yuzbazi beach hotel has been changed to Roxy's bar (Roxy is the name of the drag artist who performs each evening). Several British and Russian people I spoke to during the time I stayed here in August said how much the place had changed since they last stayed at the same place, and not for the better. If a loud drag show is your thing every night, the hotel is probably perfect for you. However, if it's not, and you don't like loud noise every single night till at least midnight, I would think twice before booking. It's such a shame as the hotel is situated in a beautiful mountainous landscape with a beach literally on the doorstep. The staff are generally friendly and the price offers value to budget travellers. If the loud drag show was not in place every single night, I would recommend the place to all budget travellers, but it is a big negative in my view and I would approach with care.

  Amazing holiday!

  We travelled as a couple and oh my goodness, what a great holiday. The hotel is amazing and the staff are great, they look after you all the time. Food is amazing (especially the pizzas) drinks are great and the wine is lovely. Fernando is amazing on the beach and we never went without a drink. Murat and Messi are great members of staff too and were always there when you needed something. The rooms are very clean but a bit small but we didn't mind that as we were out mostly. I cannot wait to go back. This place has stolen my heart. Thank you all so much!
