The perfect retreatPhil and Ally could not have made us feel more welcome during our 2 week stay with them. Their beautiful home in the heart of Serra Tramuntana really is a retreat and a perfect base for a couple looking for something a little different. We are more than happy to recommend a stay at Casa Cielo Retreat

A lovely place and a wonderful hostIt was our first visit to Mallorca. We chose Biniaraix as our basis for our walks in the Tramuntana. The village is a crossroad of many walking trails with a bar with a terrace in the center. The situation of Casa Cielo is well apart from the crowded touristic locations. The old village is situated amongst orange and lemon groves in a garden-like flowered environment. Casa Cielo is a very old house renovated recently with a lot of attention to details and to keeping the typical Mallorcan style apparent. Casa Cielo is run by a very friendly, incredibly helpful and very welcoming lady. The breakfasts at Casa Cielo are a great start to the day and Allison is ready to adjust the composition to any special needs and request. We can only warmly recommend Casa Cielo and its wonderful and cheerful host.

Beautiful location in a superb old houseWhat a beautiful place to stay amid the tranquility of the orange and lemon groves with the added benefit of views of the Tramuntana mountains . Definitely a place to get away from all the hustle and bustle but not isolated. Beautiful walks in the mountains and if you want to eat out just ask Phil for his recommendations. Alison made us feel more like family than just holiday makers, breakfast was plentiful and more than we wanted. The accommodation was clean and tidy with top quality furnishings. Renting a small car is advisable but you can easily stroll down to Soller.

World Heritage comfortCasa Cielo is simply beautiful, retaining all the character of the old building but with modern comfort. The bedroom was huge, as was the very well-appointed bathroom, and the balcony was a lovely suntrap in the evening. The village is also beautiful - it's not much more than a street and a square at the foot of the mountains, which means that it isn't as full of tourists as some of the better-known places. However, there is a good restaurant on the square, and it's a short-ish walk into Soller, which has plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and a Saturday market. The village is also on a well-known walking route, which provides wonderful views over the valley and beyond. But be warned - it's very steep!

Beautiful property in breathtaking surroundingsCasa Cielo is a wonderfully renovated old house on the main street of Biniaraix, retaining many of the original features it has been designed to make the best use of the many levels that make up this splendid property we rented the top floor for 1 week in August and everything about the place worked for us, the bedroom and living area are really comfortable and well appointed and it includes your own fridge and has a/c, the bathroom is very spacious and modern and has everything one needs and the terrace is perfect whether it be reading in the morning or nightcaps at night, the silence at night is truly exceptional ! the owner Phil is a great guy, really friendly, and is on hand to take care of everything whilst you are there, restaurant tips, ideas of what to do in the area, places to park etc, he provides nice little touches like wine cooling in the fridge on arrival along with other essentials that make staying there a pleasure all of this in the fabulous village of Biniaraix which is just a special place Highly Recommended !
