  Absolutelly excellent

  This hotel is amazing.Starting from food, service, finishing with Spa and entertaiments. Personal attention is in very high level and we will come back for sure. Rooms are realy big and comfortable, clean. Food is super, especially dinners .we had sea food in Friday. We definetly recomend the hotel.

  PERFECTION 10/10!!! Like a fairy tale!!

  Back in February I visited Chalet Al Foss in the Italian Alps. The scenery was like something out of a fairytale . As we drove through the little villages with the snow capped mountains and smell of fresh pine in the air I couldnt help but feel so excited for the weekend ahead. Although we arrived quite late, around 1am, we were welcomed so warmly despite the time by the hotel staff. During our stay we stayed in two rooms. The first room was a beautiful room tucked away in a quiet part of the Chalet. This room had a jacuzzi on the balcony overlooking the pet alpacas - this was the perfect place to wake up the next morning. And... the breakfast we woke up to was fit for a King (or Queen)! It was really a feast. Everything was beautifully served, the orange juice so fresh (Italian blood orange) and so many options to enjoy. The chalet staff were extremely knowledgeable. They helped us book some amazing activities to do during our stay. This included visiting an ICE ORCHESTRA - yes we went up the mountain to watch people play music with instruments made from ice whilst sitting in an IGLOO. This was quite literally... the COOLEST thing ever . We also had the opportunity to go horse riding and see more of the scenery. However if you love skiing this is also a possibility too because there are so many excellent ski resorts in the Vermiglio area! However the REAL attraction for me was the outdoor swimming area. I could happily spend all day and night enjoying this. Check out these photos, they explain best how incredible it was. The other incredible thing about the Chalet aside from the breakfast was the DINNER. WOW! Every single night was a gourmet menu with course after course of mouth watering delights. There was not one thing I could complain about, everything was perfect. Alberto the owner of the Chalet but also the head chef was extremely experienced and you could tell he took great pride in his work. My mouth is watering right now thinking about how good the food was. I loved the atmosphere and the night time in the restaurant felt like a real occasion. Great news for natural beauty lovers - the spa uses all natural products! The second room we stayed in was a STUNNING two floor apartment suite. Both rooms had bath tubs in the room which was a really nice feature, the beds were extremely comfortable and the furniture was made out of wood. Again, I felt like I was in a fairy tale. There was so much space and everything was so clean. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I will definitely have to go back to visit next season and do some skiing. Top 3 features: 1. The friendly staff and owners (husband and wife) - this made the stay so much more pleasurable having such lovely staff and service. On the last night they had organised a beautiful romantic set up in our room (it was near Valentines Day) whilst we were out at dinner. When we came back to the room there was rose petals, a full bubble bath and candles everywhere. This was the most beautiful surprise. See below for photos. 2. The food - it was perfection. 10/10 3. The alpacas - I LOVE animals. Getting to play with alpacas and feed them lettece was the best thing ever.

  Like a dream!!

  So much attention to detail at this beautiful chalet hotel. The owners are such lovely people, as are all the staff at the hotel. Service was easily a high 10/10. Myself and my Italian boyfriend stayed in the Vitae room, one of the newly renovated rooms at the front of the hotel with the glass balcony and egg chair. The room was even better than we were expecting! Very modern and inviting decor, great bathroom and very large shower. We were pleasantly surprised to find a free standing bath tub in the room as well! The bed was super comfortable and had a really nice mattress topper on it. We did struggle to keep the air conditioning on throughout the night, however this wasnt a huge issue for us. The outdoor infinity pool is the highlight of this place, very warm and provides the most perfect views of the mountains. We wish we had booked the floating breakfast experience in the pool but unfortunately it was booked up 3 months in advance! The spa is nice, but the indoor pool and outdoor hot tub could be a little warmer as the water was quite cool. There are two saunas here and a steam room. The larger of the two saunas being outside by the hot tub and heated pool. I loved the outdoor sauna, it reminded me of the German Christmas markets! There is also an ice bucket shower experience just outside of the sauna which is great as it does get very hot! We had breakfast and dinner included during our two night stay, the breakfast offered everything you could possibly think of! Due to new covid regulations the breakfast was table service rather than buffet style but you could order as many times as you like and the staff are all extremely polite and provided excellent customer service. The hotel menus are in Italian and the main languages spoken are Italian and German. Having said that the staff all made a real effort to speak to me in English and even printed me paper menus in English. I really appreciated that, thank you! Dinner was also beautifully presented with the option of 5 courses. The hotel also has their own chickens and geese and 2 pet lamas which live on site! There was the options of booking experiences or even breakfast with the lamas but we just visited them at their pens instead. We visited in September which meant we caught the end of the summer sun and the start of a couple of rain showers. With it not being ski season we found there wasnt much to do here but as we had hired a car we drove to Sozzine Park which is about 20 minutes away from the hotel. There is also a great restaurant at the park if you fancy a change of scenery. Overall I absolutely adored our stay at Chalet Al Foss. I would recommend the vitae room and half board as that made it for us. Thank you to everybody at Chalet Al Foss for making our stay so memorable and perfect!! I would love to come back in ski season!!

  Love in the air

  Floating breakfast, infinity pool with breathtaking views, private dinner, romantic chalet room , what else u want???? Every thing was great , they arranged my wifes birthday like a dream , special thanks to eva zotti for arranging room with love set and private dinner.

  A very unique experience in this hotel with a breathtaking view and amenities. Service was great and experiences too. Loved the foss breakfast in heated bed and excursions with motosnow or horse. We liked a little bit less the food at dinner and for the aperitive in pool that I wouldnt suggest. Overall it was great and I would return.
