  Spacy, friendly place!

  I've just passed by here and liked it very much. The family who lives here is very helpful and caring with their guests and the place is beautiful. The place is super spacy and clean. Definitely a place to recommend!

  Disappointing stay

  We booked a room in Colpetty house for 2 days.. we reached at 3.30 pm and wanted to check in.. But the room was not ready. They said it will take half an hour. We requested that we need to quickly get changed and head out. So after returning I found the condition of bathroom was similar to when we initially entered. Hairs all over the bathroom sink. This is not what is expected at this kind of price point. Breakfast was bread and fruits.. They really need to improve cleaning standards.

  Excellent Stay and Convenient location at Colpetty House

  My family of 12 stayed at Colpetty House for a week at the end of December 2019. We booked the whole house, except the Penthouse which had a separate entrance. Our family came from Malaysia, Sydney, Oman and Hawaii to attend two family weddings. It was a wonderful reunion and Anushika's house was ideal for all of us to be together. There was plenty of space in the lounge / dining areas which were open and airy, to sit and chat and eat, as we do when we all meet up. The house is on a quiet street, not too far from Galle Road and transport was easy to arrange. All the rooms are airconditioned, and also have fans. The entrance has a coded entry system which is secure and convenient. The Office Manager greeted us on arrival and showed us around the home. She was very cheerful and responsive to all our needs. Kumar, the caretaker, cook and handyman was very friendly and helpful, and would keep the place in order and prepare a delicious, plentiful breakfast daily for our group. This was included in the price. A cleaning lady would also come daily. She was very helpful and pleasant, even made some special dishes we requested. We met the owners, Anushika and her husband Romesh, a couple of times. All my queries and emails to her regarding the booking were answered promptly and our requests taken care. They are a wonderful friendly couple and made sure we were very comfortable. All of us enjoyed our stay at Colpetty House and it was truly a home away from home. We hope to return to Colombo and stay here again. Thank you Anushika and Romesh.

  Wonderful place to stay in quiet central district of Colombo

  We had a wonderful two nights at Colpetty House at the start of our holiday in Sri Lanka. Anushika and Roma who own the property were hugely friendly and welcoming, making sure we went to one of their favourite restaurants on our first night to try authentic Sri Lankan food. They also gave us lots of tips on things to see and do in Colombo and on the island in general and made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. The room was large and comfortable with good AC, a lovely bathroom and excellent WiFi. Its located in a very quiet leafy district but also really close to the centre of town and the beach. We could not have found anywhere better and hope to stay there again if we ever return to Sri Lanka.

  Amazing!

  Amazing house in the heart of colombo. Wanted to stay for a few days at Colpetty House and it ends up for 2 weeks! The location is fabulous, right in the city center, 10 mn from every touristic places, good restaurants and shopping centers but at the same time Colpetty House was so quiet, and Its so green in this area that i did not even feel i was in the SL biggest city. I booked the room on the ground floor with my own terrasse and an open living room & lounge with this big sofa to chill out, was feeling totally home! And on the top of that Anush and her beautiful family are such Lovely Caring and kind peoples, always smiling and giving you goods tips but at the time not intrusive and respectIng your space. Just thank you for making my stay in colombo unforgettable
