  Hotel de paso

  La habitación triple era adecuada para 3 personas y sus equipajes. El baño era sin plato de ducha ni bañera porque era la habitación adecuada para minusválidos, por lo que todo era más amplio de lo normal. Es un hotel de paso situado al lado de la autopista. No esperes lujos o detalles más allá de una simple habitación de mobiliario antiguo. El parking es libre, no hay problema de aparcamiento. El personal es amable. La wifi funciona, lenta pero funciona. El desayuno es completo y acorde a un hotel de esta categoría. El comedor, al igual que el hotel necesita atenciones y reformas, pero nada que impida descansar o desayunar, solo lo comento porque perjudica su imagen hacia los clientes.

  Top Notch!

  The hotel is found adjacent to the small but active airfield that serves the town of Donaueschingen. It is easily found off route 33 just to north of the town. The entrance to the hotel is on the ground floor and has wheel chair access. Though I didn't seen disabled parking. Not to say they don't have any. The entrance is where the smokers tend to gather, rather annoying. Everything is found on the ground floor when you enter the hotel. You have reception, whose staff were very helpful on checking in. They also multi task by working the bar which is directly behind reception. Also in this area is the large dining area where all meals are served. Though you can eat anywhere you want, ie in the bar area. We were allocated room 107, don't quote me on that as I have forgotten. The room is at the front of the hotel. There is a lift if needed or for the more energetic of you use the stairs. Our room turned out to be a studio, which was rather large. There was a king size bed, which my fellow traveller had and I had the single bed. My bed was comfy with nice crisp clean sheets and quilt. The only draw back I had was that the bed kept moving during the night. I tend to toss and turn a lot. Nothing to do with local beer! The bathroom had a shower unit and sink, the toilet was separate I think. A good move if you have a curry! The linen was fluffy and clean. As it was a studio there was a small kitchen area with fridge, sink and some cutlery, and with that lot was a dining table. There was also a TV on the wall. There was the usual 2-pin German plugs so an adaptor is need. Back down stairs and a beer or two was ordered. I'm not a fan of the "weissbier" so ordered a "pilsner", lager basically. Food was steak and pommes and very nice it was. Breakfast was available from 0.700 till 09.00 I think, please check on this. It was a usual German breakfast or you could have warm bacon and scrambled egg. You have a good choice to choose from. Overall myself and my fellow traveller had a good stay in the Concorde Hotel and look forward to going back in the future. All the staff were welcoming and helpful which makes for a good stay.

  Comfortable friendly place :)

  This was our third and fourth night into our german trip. The room we stayed in was very comfortable. We asked for a double bed and hot two singles pushed together but I think that was quite common for german hotels. Due to us having a street view there was a slight bit of traffic and although they did provide earplugs the traffic noise at night didn't trouble me much at all. The staff were overly friendly, providing us with information about the surrounding area without request and going above and beyond with their customer care. If you are in the area and thinking of staying over night anywhere I would definitly recommend this place.

  Great value for money

  Stay was good and great staff. Restaurant has great food and breakfast all good, there is enough parking and a nice terrace for a drink with view at the airport. Complementary use of a gym close by. No brainer... book now

  The most amazing hotel I've been to in a long time. Also if you like aviation.

  I only spent 1 night here, but was amazed from the moment I stepped into the elavator (Has a photo of an Airbus A320/330 cockpit). Pretty cool feature. My room was 303 on the top floor facing the airport (naturally). Room was very spacious and well lit and very clean and tidy. The only thing missing was a tea/coffee set, but I think this is common in Europe? The staff were very friendly and professional, giving advice on local sights etc. Breakfast was very good and tasted very nice. Wifi access was decent speeds and was free. View from my room was amazing. It's very quiet, but it was fun watching aircraft takeoff and land from my room. Highly recommend this hotel especially if you are into aviation like me.
