  Spotless hotel with a great view

  We stayed here May of 2020 and found this hotel to be a gem. The room was immaculate and huge. It had a huge high back Lounging chair , a nice little table and a view that was amazing of the St Clair River. Right across the street is a Boardwalk along the river. The shower had beautiful tiled shower with a quiet rain shower head . So relaxing. The staff made it such a good visit too telling us if we needed anything to just text or call them. Cant wait to go back.

  Class Act

  Stayed in the king suite. Extremely spacious. Only thing I would add in a small table to eat on by the kitchenette. There would still be plenty of room. Otherwise, I would say this is a 5 star stay. Even during COVID staff very responsive and attentive. Hotel is extremely clean and well kept. Location is outstanding. Property is sprawling. I plan on coming back when all the amenities are open like the pool and restaurant. I especially want to thank the hotel manager that accommodated us with our two small dogs, as we were affected by flooding in Midland, MI. I would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. Thank you to the manager and staff!

  Ignore Honors Members

  After staying here dozens of times dating back to the original property, found this stay very disappointing because the property is "not offering Honors benefits right now" I guess due to Covid. I was given this exact line by the front desk person upon check in regarding free breakfast. They are not providing free breakfast due to covid ..however you are welcome to pay for breakfast. What? How does covid stop you from handing a Diamond member a breakfast coupon but allows you to collect a very overpriced fee for the same food? The restaurant breakfast is not worth paying anything for so ate elsewhere. Very disappointed in Hilton simply ignoring longtime loyal customers and using a very very lame excuse of covid. Yes the virus has had a drastic impact on so many things but using it to curtail free breakfast is simply unacceptable. As a result I will never return to this property again. You can get the view at no cost by walking the river.

  Weekend getaway

  We stayed here to relax along Lake Huron, St Clair River, and watch freighter. It was very clean, comfortable, relaxing & convenient. We will return in the cold of winter, just to get away again.The bed & pillows were comfortable. The staff was friendly. The location perfect.

  Only a place to sleep

  Gym was not available because they have local members. No food available. No late check out available. No Hilton honors acknowledgment. Two star was because room was nice. No reason to stay at a double tree if they only provide a bed.
