  Lovely spot in the backstreets of beautiful Chania

  The studios are fantastic. The owner is a kind gentleman who presented us a bottle of wine on arrival. Our fridge was stocked with fresh oranges from his farm and we had lovely juice each morning on the balcony. The room is perfect and clean. The studios are in a fantastic location within the walls of the old town seconds away from the harbour and lovely restaurants. 5 star.

  Two nights in lovely suite wish it had been longer.

  Beautiful room with character and charm. Owner didn't give me a bottle of wine like others talk about but I suspect that was because I was a middle-aged female traveling alone. However I did get several large bowls of fresh fruit and fresh oranges from the owner trees and bottled water. The room had a large spa bath tub which I didn't think I would use but it cools down at night and it was great to have a soak after spending the my days walking through archeological sites and museums. Great location. I had the sea view with the roof terrace. It in the city centre and old town so the street sounds were loud but I also got to lay in a bath tub listening to a wonderful concert of a Cretan folk singer. Lost my cameras memory card so no photos but the ones online are accurate. You won't be disappointed.

  Lovely Hotel with Kind-Hearted Owner

  My boyfriend and I had a truly wonderful stay at Archontiko Evgenia Studios a week ago. We arrived pretty late at night, and the owner greeted us with fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. He showed us around our room and also recommended some spots to visit on the map. The owner is a very kind-hearted and sweet older man. The room was very large and clean, with a small kitchenette (and cooking supplies) and a small fridge. Coffee and tea were also provided in the room. The room was cleaned well every day and fresh towels were provided daily. The place is in a wonderful location--right in the heart of Old Town Chania. We felt very safe walking around here at night and it is very close to two markets and many restaurants. The room was beautifully decorated--very charming. It was right across from the hotel balcony, where we ate our breakfast daily and enjoyed the view of the sea. An added bonus is the price! It is amazing for what you get. Overall, we had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this place for those looking in Chania!

  (@mitchelltravels) - I stayed at Archontiko Evgenia Studios during the peak summer season and was not let down in any way. I was looking for something similar to an apartment right smack in Chania town and I could not be more satisfied with this booking. I absolutely recommend you book the "Studio, Jetted Tub, Sea View" which is literally on the last floor (I believe the 4th) if you don't mind the walk up the stairs. Insane cozy studio with great views of the port, a large comfy bed with netting, kitchenette and a jetted tub that would make the cut in any Brazzers production. The best part about my stay was how well located this place was and how that and the room submerge you in the beauty that is Chania's old town. Tons of restaurants and shops nearby; you honestly wouldn't have to walk more than 15 minutes to get to any part of Chania's old town from here. Stunning city in itself. The older gentleman who received me there was very gracious and even gave a complimentary bottle of Cretan wine for my stay. You can't park at the hotel because no cars are allowed in the old town but there's tons of public parking very close by. Stay here and use that tub ;)

  Some what worn

  Location is great, owners friendly, the flat clean. However we had some issues with the jacuzzi (there was not enough warm water to fill it) and the wifi in our room. A decent option, but compared to other places we stayed and the price we paid it was not the best deal.
