  Budget chalet with friendly staff and lovely sunrise.

  Sunrise was perfect with the calm sea. Night time if the sky is clear you prob can see many stars too. Nature unspoilt, with jelly fish and many hermit crab during low tide. Careful not to swim in sea due to numerous jelly fish. You can build sandcastles and walk along the beach. Quiet place to chill for 1-2 nights. Free breakfast is cooked warmly for you. You can choose western or fried rice. For 1 pax is more than sufficient. You can share with your children too. Near a jetty where you can take boat out for fishing for island hopping. Basic rooms if you have children staying with you, they only provide 2 towels. If you need extra need to pay for them. Swimming pool does not look clean so we gave it a miss.

  WORST PLACE TO STAY! Very Bad Service. Stupid hotel! Dirty and arrogant staff!

  Worst stay ever! Don't judge by the picture it is not how it looks in the picture.. The pool is open for public so guest have to share the pool & other facilities with public and guest have to pay same amount to use the hotel facilities. In the weekend or PH the pool is pack with outsider (NOT HOTEL GUEST). People are freely picnic around the pool. No privacy at all. Since we have nothing to do at night I ask receptionist wether we can use the ping pong facilities and just saying that we bored at room so we decide to play ping pong, then she arrogantly said " tempat ini untuk orang bersantai je" (this place is for relaxing) I dont want to reply her and with just decide to when for the ping pong instead. After ping pong I called the receptionist to ask for tomorrow breakfast timing. The way she answer the phone like no manners and not friendly at all. I just ask for her name and she reply in Malay (Why you need to know my name?). Im shocked. For me is normal for guest to know the staff name & I ask her is it wrong for me to know who am I speaking to. when I recognise it was as same girl who arrogantly said this place is for relaxing only I ask her opinion what are u suggesting me to do in this hotel. She said (tak faham) and past the phone to other staff without telling me anything. Damm! Super Rude! - Inside the room fridge is broken, the cup are dirty with the dried rice marks and inside kettle is oily. you can imagine how dirty is the floor already. Im not fussy guest. but this is completely spoil you holiday, wasting your money and not worth it.

  Such a shame...

  The last time I went to Felda Residence, it was 7 years ago. I remember sitting in the lobby enjoying the ocean breeze. I had fond memories even though we had an incident of a baby snake being in our room. I remember admiring the clean pool, and swimming in it. Iremember liking the omelette from the egg station at breakfast. So when my husband and I were looking for a venue for our family day event, we decided to go to Felda Residence Tanjung Leman again. Oh, what a disappointment it was. The lobby have so many flies. The water in the pool was green and murky. The restaurant was not open until later in the evening. The corridor leading to our room was smelly. Trays of food by the corridor, inviting lots of flies. We stayed in the suite on the 2nd floor. Room number 214. Our room was ok. But the bathroom was moldy and the balconies, were dirty. Drinking glasses in our room have stain. Bedsheet have stain. Curtains have stain. The only thing that I have no complaint with was the nature aspects of the place. The beach was good, the children had so much fun there, thank goodness because no way no how I'm going to let them swim in that pool. We booked a bbq hut, and it was good and comfortable. They provided us with drinks. The sky was clear that night so we we managed to do some star gazing too. Although, the loudness from the nearby restaurant was rather annoying. Playing some ridiculous song chanting "jongang jongang jongang" not exactly what one want to listen too when trying to enjoy the nature. Come on, people! The sunset by the beach, was breathtakingly perfect. One of us found snake again. Though it was outside, this time. Bigger than the last time. Staff were polite. I have no complaint with them. They all have good attitude. I do hope Felda Residence Tanjung Leman could find it's way back to it's glory days. Already as it is, they have the perfect settings for a wonderful and successful getaway venue. Just need to fix few broken things and maintain them well.

  Definitivamente, no es una buena opción

  La mayoría del personal es agradable, el sitio aparentemente es acogedor, con una larguísima playa a la que accedes desde el hotel, en un enclave de vacaciones (Tanjung Leman) con puerto para acudir a las islas cercanas, con un entorno interior de cultivo de palmera para aceite mezclado con tramos de jungla o bosque tropical. Pero hay mucha cosa que corregir: - El hotel es de certificado Halal, cosa que está muy bien si eres musulmán, pero no si quieres tomarte alguna cerveza cuando llegas de excursión o de la playa (no hay); o si quieres bañarte en la piscina (no llevábamos el tipo de atuendo adecuado según la certifícación halal, y por tanto no nos pudimos bañar en los 3 días). De hecho, sólo había malayos, ningún no musulmán. - Hay alquiler de bicis y eso fue una de las cosas que me hizo decantarme, pero las bicis están hechas una auténtica castaña: no iba el freno delantero, las marchas no cambian, el pedal izqdo. colgando, la amortiguación destrozada, todo oxidado... Desastre. - El desayuno limitado. El menú de la comida también, sobre todo porque muchos de los alojados lo que luego hace son barbacoas en la playa, y por eso el restaurante va con lo justito. Mención aparte el tema fruta. Que en el trópico tenga que tomarme para desayunar sólo sandía, y que si me pido del menú un plato de frutas variadas me pongan sandía nuevamente, manzana verde, piña ultraverde y naranja ácida, es un delito. Ni durians, ni fruta del dragón, ni plátanos, ni ninguna de las delicias que sí probé en cualquier rincón de Singapur, a escasos kilómetros. - Las habitaciones están bien y más o menos limpias. - Wi-fi sólo en recepción y de muy baja calidad. - Información meteorológica siempre al revés de lo que era al día siguiente, no sé de dónde la sacaban. - Por la noche, muy ruidoso, montón de malayos haciendo barbacoa, karaoke, etc., hasta altas horas. No volvería ni pagándome, no es buena opción. Lo único es que como era época de monzón, no fuimos a Pulau Sibu, una de las islas, por si no podíamos volver a tiempo a nuestro vuelo. Pero otra vez habría que montárselo de otra manera. Este hotel, y, en general, todos los de Tanjung Leman, no son opción si no eres de la zona, creo.

  A stopover hotel stay before pulau sibu

  We chose to stay at the hotel because it was next to Tg Leman jetty to Sibu Island & took 6 hours drive from KL. The room was comfy but needs upgrading with views of the beach. The swimming pool was huge but it was open to public use and the water needed care. The jacuzzi was great. No room service or a la carte menu so we had to go elsewhere to have dinner however the breakfast was delicious. The beach was private and had ATV facilities but the beach was not safe for swimming but our daughter loves to play with the sand and enjoy the beach and swimming pool.
