  SUCKED!

  Booked through Priceline and then discovered they booked me through Booking.com. Priceline welcome stated..."Thanks for booking your HOTEL with Priceline". Not a hotel at all!! What a run around trying to get a refund. Owner declined any refund at all when Booking.com called her. We arrived to check in and saw that this is a converted home in a 'not so nice' residential neighborhood. I then asked to see the room...what a joke! TINY and very outdated. Shower not big enough for a flee. Told the owner it was not acceptable and she was snarky to me. BEWARE the good reviews on the internet they are not true!!! Save you a lot of trouble. We stayed at a regular hotel our last 2 nights on Maui.

  Beware of what room is booked!

  So very disappointed in the unit we received. NOT elegant- in fact quite the opposite. Room size of a postage stamp and no window except in back of room at bathroom. Feels like staying in an inside cabin on a cruise ship. Very sad because the other rooms look fantastic. Supposedly we couldnt move to a larger room even though we see they are empty. Hard to work tv, the AC is laughable, dont replace towels daily. Good location. Make sure you check what room you are assigned before payment!

  Will be back!

  I stayed in the Island View room. I had a wonderful view (of Lanai and Molokai, as well as the south side of Kaanapali) from my huge lanai. The bed was huge, and the room had a nice size mini-fridge, and a Roku system for Netflix and other media. Wifi worked extremely well. Super clean throughout, The property is a plantation style home. Very relaxing and quiet. The owners and staff are incredibly nice people, and were super patient with all of my never ending questions. If you are looking for a super high end luxury resort with kiddie pools and way overpriced restaurants, than look elsewhere, but if you want to feel like you are actually living in Maui (with a beautiful view), then do not hesitate.

  Absolute bliss!

  I could have stared out of the windows of my room here for hours watching the whales from a distance. I loved how quiet the neighborhood is (its also easy to drive by and miss this unassuming locale). Dont miss sunset from the balcony. Lastly, do yourself a favor and do a boat trip with Pac-Whale Eco Adventures early on so you understand what the whales are doing if youre here during that season.

  Rude & Disgusting

  This place is a dump. Totally rude and unwelcoming. The neighborhood surrounding is boarded up delapidated houses and junkyard hoarder shacks. There were people running around everywhere (with no masks) yet the rude office lady said my children were running like elephants (they werent) right in front of them. How dissrespectful to the kids and to us. The place is disgusting like it never gets cleaned. The room is small and uncomfortable and tacky (gross grocery store body wash missing the lid in the shower.) Ridiculous extra fees upon check-in. Hostility and awkardness in the atmosphere. Think long and hard before booking here to save money. There's a reason its so cheap. If I could give less stars I would.
