    Free upgrade

    My husband and I booked a room with a jacuzzi and a view of the water for a much needed weekend get away. We checked in and they said we were given a free upgrade with a newer jacuzzi and the room had 2 beds. Sounds nice right? We get to our room and the jacuzzi tub is nice and there is a tv in the bathroom to go with it. We have a King and a Queen bed, not needed but ok. So we open the curtains to the balcony and we have a view of .....the parking lot! Was pretty disappointing. Didnt ruin the trip but definitely wasnt the view we drove 4 hours to enjoy.

    Go somewhere else!

    I originally booked a stay at Bridge vista to use the water park 2 weeks prior to my stay. At this time i was never informed the waterpark was closed that was attached to this hotel the very reason we made the reservation. I called on a Monday to make sure all was set for our stay that coming Saturday. At this time I was informed Bridge vista was closed all together so we were being moved to the crown choice, I made sure to check and double check this hotel as well had a attached hotel. I was traveling with my children and it was Winter in Michigan we did not want to walk in the cold after a pool! I was assured my room would be in the same hotel and the pool water park. I called again that Wednesday due to new stay at home order i wanted to again check all saw set since my commute there was over 4 hours driving and didn't want to have anything go wrong.... I tell you what thank god I called! They had now moved us to the Hamilton in which we would have to cross the street and walk down the street to get to the pool. I politely told her this was not what i confirmed Monday and if that is the case please cancel the reservation... At that moment all changed this person with a very strong British accent told me well sorry you will still have to pay the $98 for the first night. I questioned her to ask why i was moved and how this is my fault i had called twice now this week to confirm our two nights stay were set up correctly. The person from Hamilton then got very rude and pretty much told me oh well she didnt talk to me and my card will be changed. I asked for a manager and was hung up on, tried to call back they picked up and hung up again. I could not get them to answer so i spoke with the chamber of tourism whom called the hotel and it was taken care of i would not be charged my reservation was cancled. Nope saturday i get yet another rude call from the hotel at 6:40PM stating i was not there and i will be changed if not there by 7pm. When i asked if she saw any notes this and that she answered nope and hung up. I then called again monday when i was informed the manager would be in. No manager it was a team lead and he was rude and told me this was how it was i was changed get over it. Fast forward 20 days and about 4 hours of phone calls back in forth. Being told i was refunded it will be back in my account 10 days later... I finally got a refund. This is absolutely un acceptable and i am sure will continue to happen. Do not stay here it is not worth it at all!!!!!!!!

    WORST TRIP EVER

    DON'T GO HERE!!! RUINED ENTIRE VACATION *Will transfer your reservation to another hotel without permission *Filthy, Disgusting *Very Rude *Doesn't follow Covid Guidelines I booked a stay at the Crown Suite so the kids could use the water park. They said they only had a 2 room/4 queen suite available. Even though we only needed 2 beds and didn't really want to pay for a $300 room, We took it since(supposedly) it was the last room open. On arrival, the front desk asked us to please wait while he answers the phone. And he said "yes we have vacancies." Then he asked our name, looked a paper then called the other hotel to ask if we were on their guest list. He then informed us we would be at the Hamilton. I expressed to him no we booked here. He said we go there and stay but can bring family here for water park. (Like I want to take kids out in the February weather to get back to another hotel all wet). Leaving the Crown, they were shipping other guest to the Hamilton. When we got to the Hamilton, there were more angry guest because they thought they were staying at Hamilton and they were sending them to Crown. I explained that I booked for the Crown and not there and I did not want a room there. She said "No, you called here and booked. and I will charge the card for the stay even if you went to the Crown."(because I expressed that there are vacancies at Crown) She said they are not affiliated with Crown. I asked why did that front desk call this front desk then. She said-"it is just another local hotel calling to see if you were on the guest list." LIES!! I went to the room they gave us, it was filthy. It wasn't even cleaned from the previous guest. I redialed the number I called when making the reservation and Crown answered.(Lady at Hamilton front desk, made it seem like i was confused and I didn't know what hotel I called) I went back up to the desk, where there were even more guests being told to go to another hotel. I told them that i could prove that I called Crown and reserved from my phone log. They said so you are booked here now. i told them the room was filthy( which they sent a non-mask wearing maid to clean while we unpacked) I asked to speak with a manager and I was told to go back to my room. During my stay there were many unhappy guest(filthy rooms and wrong hotels) They need to get better people running these hotels. They are completely failing from booking, front desk, and housekeeping.

    Unsafe and dingy

    Only two staff members including housekeepers wore masks. I asked he gentleman who checked us in and he said he won't wear one. The woman in the office refused as well. As we walked away he started saying we were Democrats. Not true but funny. The property looks like it hasn't been updated in 20 years or more. Everything was old a appeared very used. The view from our room was nice. We were booked for two days. After my daughter and I saw the cleaning staff working in rooms, in the halls then at the front desk we decided it was unsafe and decided to check out and go home. We didn't even ask for a refund which caused another issue for my bad rating. One of the belligerent front desk people told me in no uncertain terms that we were going to be charged full price for the night in a snide tone. I responded that we didn't ask for our money back. The place was so disgusting that we just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible.

    Wonderful Stay

    Room was clean and well stocked. many people get nervous because of Covid-19 but I was so happy with my stay. It was very clean and I couldn't be happier. Front desk staff checked me in quickly and helped me find a restaurant to eat at, (The Dixie Saloon) which was wonderful as well. I'll be happy to bring them my business again. Will definitely be coming back soon.
