  Dont stay here!

  Run like faulty towers! Owes companies £1000s! All you need to do it go to Bournemouth echo newspaper and search Hinton Firs Hotel! Run by a con family who owes guest and staff money!!! Dirty , food being cooked in guest lounges, pool always closed for private familys , staff over worked, dirty towels - if you get towels!! The list goes on and on!! READ REPORTS!

  Should not be accepting guests should be closed by health inspectors!!!!

  Dirty towels, dirty linen, dirty rooms... No heating working, wallpaper peeling and stained carpets. Oh and the DAMP smell running throughout is just great for those with long conditions. The pool was shut for "maintenance" the kitchens where shut for Covid, they didn't even provide tea and coffee in the room or cups for it. The rooms are dirty and dusty and with the COVID pandemic I would expect standards to be higher.... 1 member of staff seems to be on duty perminantely and although he tries his best the best standard is extremely low. They are charging full rates for not even half the service. We took this as it was our only option for a break away 4 kids in tow and I would have been better camping with cows in a field. The only bonus this hotel has is its location to the sea front. Worst nightmare of a stay, kids will remember for all the wrong reasons. Complete waste of my hard saved money for a much needed family break :-(

  Family weekend

  We were slightly apprehensive after booking and reading some reviews, however we were pleasantly surprised. Our daughter and 2 grandsons had room 30 which had a double bed and 2 singles. The bathroom though dated was clean with bath and shower over. Decent size tv and tea coffee making facilities. We had room 32 good size room bathroom clean and again needs updating. Tea and coffee making facilities but no tv. Public areas are clean and tidy. Staff very helpful. Would definitely visit again especially when hopefully bar , restaurant and spa reopens

  Good value for money.

  We booked this hotel last minute so there were a limited number of hotels available and we were unsure how this hotel would be given some of the recent reviews. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were big and clean. Additionally the bed was very comfortable and the shower and bath room was good. The location was all good and everything was walkable. Yes the hotel was slightly run down and the odd bit of work does need doing however having walked along the beach front this seemed the case for almost all of the locally run hotels along the beach. Overall this was good value for money and Id recommend.

  Disgraceful

  Hinton Firs Hotel Bournemouth Do not book this hotel 782177210 We booked this hotel for a group of 50. We paid our deposit. When we were a few weeks away from travelling, we were informed that they were closed. We asked for our deposit back and they refused, and have still not paid it back. Disgraceful manager. Going by all the negative reviews, we have probably escaped lightly.
