  Frustrating overheated hotel

  We got NO SLEEP at this hotel because there was no way guests could control the air conditioner. The heat setting was absolutely suffocating. We reported this issue to the receptionist, who said that was not her job. I asked if she could please pass the message on to the person whose job it was and she responded he is in the basement, whatever that was supposed to mean. There was also NO ELEVATOR and we were in the top floor. The hotel was clean, if you did not mind the strong smell of chemicals. The shower was nice. The breakfast was acceptable. But to have to open your bedroom door in a strange hotel to get some relief from the stifling heat should not be necessary.

  6 star!!

  The staff of this hotel have got to be the nicest, most helpful in the whole of Russia. On booking I mentioned that I was travelling specifically to watch the local ice hockey team. The hotel tried to find tickets for me but the stadium was sold out. When I arrived, the receptionist, Svetlana, asked if I had found tickets, and when she heard I had't, se started calling friends. Between Svetlana and the other receptionist, Anastasia, they amanged to find frineds of friends who were willing to sell me tickets, they booked them in advance, sent me SMS messages with the details and generally helped me to buy tickets to two matches which I would never have been able to see otherwise. I expect hotels to offer a certain amount of help with tickets and so on, but these ladies went well beyond the normal. Their description of how to get to the ticket office was also extremely accurate and easy to follow, and I really appreciate everything they dud. Besides this, the hotel is lovely. The rooms are spacious and the beds are wonderful. The rooms are warm, but there is an air conditioner or you can simply open the window (note to previous reviewer!!). Very quiet location just 2 streets back from the main square of Novosibirsk with museums, theatres and lots of restaurants. Mini bar, kettle, slippers etc and a great bathroom. Breakfast is included int he price and is very generous, albeit very Russian (lots of meat). The staff really know their city and can help you find your way anywhere, including organising a transfer car from the airport if necessary. In general, this is a wonderful city, and this hotel is superb!

  Buena ubicación y precio

  Muy bien ubicación y a buen precio. Excelente el desayuno. La recepcionista Anastasya nos recomendó restaurantes y bares y nos indicio que visitar en nuestra corta visita. Fue súper amable. La habitación es grande y cómoda. El wifi funcionaba bien. La única contra es la presión de la ducha. Apenas un hilo de agua.

  A very nice stay, i do recommend this hotel !!

  This hotel is very clean and the rooms are pleasant and spacious with air-conditioner.It is situated in the city centre ,( just 7 minutes' walk to the central square ) The staff is very helpful and nice. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant every day and the food was very good and cheap.Breakfast is nice too, the day before you are handed a form to fill in and indicate what you want to have ( very large choice ) Everyone in this hotel tries to do his/her best to help you . Breakfast is normally served from 7 a.m but my taxi to the Airport was scheduled for 7 a.m . When I told it to the lady at the reception desk and the waitress they immediately said there was no problem they would open the restaurant earlier for me ; many thanks to both of them for helping me so that I could have a proper breakfast before leaving. In too many hotels if you have an early departure you can be sure you won't have breakfast on that morning.

  Nice alternative

  I had a pleasant stay here. Room was spacious, clean and we'll maintained. Service was nice for a 3 star hotel. The only downside was that there was a construction going on next door decreasing our comfort
